Every Goat In Its Right Place

I think I am all better now. As far as I can tell.

But I think it’s time to check up on the goats.

choko

Plume gives Chokolade a treat.

choko

And if Plume isn’t quick enough with the treats then Chokolade knows where to go looking for herself.

lakrids

Lakrids takes grass.

thor

While Thor goes for the hugs. He was back on high-energy today.

vanilje

Vanilje for the scratches.

magnethe

And Magnethe just looks pretty.

It was good to see them all again. Whoever heard of being sick in the summer? Outrageous it is.

Finally, a medical miracle of another sort:

lakridschoko

Some kind of eigth-legged goat. With two tails. Have you ever seen such a thing? Amazing.

There you have it.

  1. Debster Says:

We used to see zebras with no heads. Someone had a pair of zebras on their farm and they would put out a big bale of hay for them.

The zebras would start at the outside of the hay bale and eat their way to the middle. All you could see was their backs and rears (no heads).

The goatzie girls are getting so big now. Vanilje looks particularly fetching in that photo. Is she getting some more of that light brown color on her face?

Our Billy changes colors with the seasons. His legs are mostly white now as is the bridge of his nose (between his eyes). He looks like the baby goat he once was. In the fall and winter, he gets a light brown caramel color on his face and his lower legs get dark black.

Glad you are almost back to normal. Whatever that is!!!! (hee, hee – I couldn’t resist!)

Debster – Did you ever see sea zebras? Heehee! I like when the goats get their heads well into the hay. Looks like the hay is eating the goat!
It’s quite appropriate that Vanilje’s face has gotten that darker colour. Her name means Vanilla of course. And vanilla isn’t actually white, now is it. But I guess Vanilla flavoured icecream is all white. Yes. Where was I now?!
