This is page 2 of my Oblivion screenshots. This page contains spoilers for the end of the game. If you plan to play it for yourself then don't look at this! Page 1 is here Onwards.
Getting on with the main quest and Oblivion gates start appearing in the land. Oblivion is hell, basically. And it is a gloomy place. Fire and brimstone etc. And big towering infernos. To close the connection between our world and Oblivion we need an heir to the assassinated emperor. Luckily there's Martin, the illegitimate son of Uriel Septim VII. Phew. And we gather some troops. And close some gates. That's Mankar Cameron. He is a bad guy(TM). He is not the baddest guy(TM) though. The baddest guy is.. Mehrunes Dagon. He is a really, big bad guy. He is going to destroy the world, and you in the process. The new emperor Martin is the key to survival. Lord Dagon, green with envy. It's too late to light the dragonfires so Martin turns into the avatar of Akatosh instead. The avar of Akatosh is a big, giant dragon. Who packs a big, giant punch. The big, giant Martin-dragon is victorious. As a reward he is turned into a big, giant statue. Sweet deal. It's going to be a wonderful tourist attraction. Although I'll miss the giant tower. Finally, a couple of comedy shots: A dead, drunk goblin. Too much ale. And the spectral mudcrab. Hah. That's all for ever. All screenshots taken from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. |
