Merry You
So there it was, merry christmas. All done for this year. At least round these parts.
It was a nice, little evening. With my brother and parents. A nice dinner and chitchat about how things are going. Diabetes and MasterCard and lambs and eyesight. I even got the almond in the ris-a-la-mande. In my second mouthful. Normally that would mean I won a prize. But my dad forgot to buy one. Usually the prize is chocolate , so that wouldn’t have been good anyway. But he promised to get me some sugarfree cookies. Apparently there is a cookie shop downtown. Their sugarfree cookies are quite nice. I wonder if the cookie monster shops in the cookie shop? Or maybe since he’s a monster he just barges in and takes what he wants. I don’t know. I just like the idea of a whole shop dedicated to cookies. Maybe it is next door to the liquorice shop and the lollypop shop. On Candy Boulevard in my high dreams.
What loot did I get this year, you might inquire? I got myself Lost season 4. The Don Rosa Hall of Fame number 7. And two 5kg handweights. All things I had wished for, so I’m quite happy with that. Although the Don Rosa book hadn’t arrived yet, so I’ll have to wait for that to come. I’ll also be getting a magnifying glass with light, you can put it on your head and read when you’re almost as blind as I almost am. So that will be nice. And the weights are for building up a little arm muscle strength, now that I’m working on the legs so much. I feel pretty strong in the arms, and when they measured it at the hospital there weren’t any problems either, but sometimes I sort of feel like the muscle gives out… if you know what I mean? The biceps, I guess it’s called? I noticed it when reading it bed and reaching out for my cup of soup drink (in winter) or cold soda (in summer, before diabetes). When my arm was at a certain angle I could barely lift the cup. So I don’t know. But I figure it can’t hurt to work on them muscles a little. I am aiming to become Mr Fitness 2009. Watch out Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Now, as a special christmas present for you guys, here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3CFytdJ0_U. Okay, to be honest it’s just more of the lambs. More of the same. But cute! There is a lamb practically kissing the camera. And nibbling at my cap. And drinking milk from mama, that little tail whirring like a motorboat. They are so sweet. You’ll get to see why my pants were so muddy too.
All in all it’s been a good, little christmas. I won’t complain. So once again, merry christmas to you all. I hope it’s been good for you too or that it will be good, depending on when you read this. You are the best presents a Plume could ask for.

Sweet, sweet baby lambies. I like when they lay down in a neat little sheep package, legs all folded up and everything.
You really do need some snow. It looks way too green there at the playground, dude! The only white things were the geese and I don’t think they were going to provide you with enough feathers to make the ground white.
It snowed here some overnight, which made it much easier to walk on the ice on the previous snow. The goats even ventured out of the barn today. We told them it was okay to come out to walk around in their pen.
John Boy (of all people) was the first one out of the barn! Then came Bill, then Frankie. Snickers wanted to come out in the worst way, but I think she was scared she couldn’t get back in the barn.
We tried coaxing her out, but no go. It was sunny, but really windy, so none of us spent a lot of time outside. Just enough to track up the snow with goatzies hooves a bit. The goats were very happy to be outside if even for just a short time.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to get out there and do some barn cleaning as you can image what it’s like with them all in there all the time.
I’ve still got my cold and cough. I am feeling better though, but just can’t shake it. My husband is doing better, too.

Ględelig Jul, Lasse! Og Tillykke med mandlen! My mum got it in our house. I’d bought a hand blown glass wine stopper. Very beautiful, but no use for you either, as you don’t drink. Maybe it would fit on a coke zero bottle? Hope you will like the cookies.
Anyways, just stopped in to wish you a Merry Christmas. Now I shall watch Tempelridderne on the telly with my husband. Hugs from all of us.

Debster – Yes, they fold up so neatly into a tight litttle package. And then their heads start to nod and their eyes droop because they are sleepylambs.
No snow at all here. Not very christmassy. But oh well. I’m glad your goats got to go out for a little. They must have enjoyed it.
Desiree – Ględelig jul! I hope the kids had a good time. And the adults too of course. Everybody, in fact!
LuisLemmings – Merry christmas good old Luis!
