Absolute Power

I am not feeling too well, still. My throat has started hurting. I guess I am coming down with something. Luckily I have mama’s world famous chicken soup, so that’s good timing.
There are other things to discuss, but they can wait till I feel a little better. I just wanted to make sure to congratulate NATO on naming Danish prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen as their new chief. And by “congratulate NATO” I really mean congratulate the Danish people, because we will be rid of him. He is like a smart version of George Bush. You can imagine how dangerous that is. A liar and a thief, the symbol of the decline of Danish society. The dark shadow of Mordor. Sauron to Pia Kjærsgaard’s Saruman. Or is it the other way around? Good riddance to bad rubbish. Let’s hope we can have an election and get the opposition back in power. Although that’s just wishful thinking. As long as the opposition is ahead in the polls there will be no elections of course.
Sorry, I shouldn’t be ranting politics when I’m sick. My head is spinning and the hobbits are dancing on the table.

We had a nice walk with the animals today. It was windy, but they sure didn’t care. Lots of green, green grass was consumed and much running and leaping about (and the goats and donkey were pretty active as well). hee, hee
Billy would eat for awhile then wander over to me for some scratches and shoulder rubs and gaze deep into my eyes. They all have green chins from the juicy grass. Hard to keep a straight face when gazing into the blue-gold eyes of a green-chinned goat!
Snickers was in a wonderful mood. No biting, no carrying on, no “I’m a big bad donkey girl” attitude. Where did our little monster go?? Our demon donkey is growing up. She turned one year old on March 29th.
Hope you get to feeling better, my dear danish goat boy. Eat soup and be healthy!
