Bloody Squickerwonkers
Oh dear. Bad news. My eye surgery has been postponed again.
Only a week this time, though, so I guess it’s not a disaster. But still very annoying. I have been waiting for so long. One step forward, five steps back.
So now instead of Thursday this week it will be Thursday next week. A nurse called from the hospital today and told me. It was some problem with the anesthesiologists, they couldn’t make it on Thursday or something like that.
Oh well.
Now I can power down again. And then wait to next week and power up. So it goes. Meanwhile, there is time for goats.
youtube.com/watch?v=OkD73en6Vh0. Video from Friday. General fun with the goats. Several funny little bits. Also a couple of humans, Anne and Alice. Alice gave me the lens cap to my camera. A kid had found it somewhere on the grounds. So I was glad to get that back.
You can see what a little troublemaker Hans is. He even picks fights with mama Magnethe now. Sometimes she’ll push him away like she’s annoyed with him, and then he’ll turn around and jump up in the goat-attack pose. She’s way too strong for him to fight, but he’s got all the right poses. He’s not going to back down for anyone. There’s a bit in the video where he’s doing it in front of Anne too, and she asks me why they do that. And I get tongue-tied, of course. But there it goes.
And off I go now. Back to waiting.

Katt – Why would I want to be associated with my pic? HAVE YOU SEEN ME? Maybe I could be associated with a pic of Spike or something. That’d be better.
I think I blogged gravatars in my blog because it was calling a script from their site, why would you need to call a script to show an avatar. I don’t like things like that.
PS I dreamt about you, but I already facebooked that.

Oh, no. Not another postponement. You definitely wouldn’t want to proceed without the anesthesiologist!
We are still moving stuff from the other house. I think we will be moving the goats and donkey in the next day or so. My husband keeps decreasing the size of their pen so he can make a new pen for them.
I think they are confused about our odd (even for us) hours. I’m working on getting the house cleaned so the old landlord won’t have a cow.
I am so tired…..

Debster – hah, no I think the anasthesiologist is pretty essential to the procedure. Or, I guess they could just knock me out with a giant, cartoon mallet. You never know.
I didn’t know a cow was taking over your old house?! That’s going to be some household.
I hope you don’t get yourself overworked. Maybe you could let the goats do some hauling of stuff. I’m sure they’d volunteer to move all the carrots and nuts and apples.
