The New Man In Charge
Today it was time for foot therapy. Remember a while ago I wrote about how I would never see that place, or the therapist? Well, today I saw more of him than I ever have before. I could sort of see his face. A little. It’s nice to see those little improvements. And hopefully after the secondary cataracts are treated I will be able to see even more. I wish those couple of months would go on and pass quickly.
On Friday I have to go to the dentist. That will not be fun, I’m afraid. I haven’t gone in many years. Maybe 10 years. Or more. Yes, I’m aware that’s stupid. But the phobia kept me away. The only reason that my teeth haven’t fallen out already is that my dad always taught me to take good care of them. But nonetheless I’m afraid I’ll be in for a major session. I know I have wisdom teeth and I have been feeling a little soreness or sensitivty or whatever from some other teeth too. I have never had a cavity in my life. But of course that’s easy to say when you never go to the dentist. We’ll see how it goes.
Meanwhile, Katt wanted a video of where I live. I still live in the same, old apartment that I moved into three years ago. I made videos back then, but here is a new one: youtube.com/watch?v=acUymOUaHVU. Three years of accumulated mess. And a little jumping from me.
That’s all. I’m off to enjoy the sparkling summer weather.
PS. Can’t wait for my complete Lost collection to come. I have seasons 1-5 on DVD but I’m still buying the complete set. Because I’m crazy like that.

I was doing okay on the virtual tour of the “Goatmaster’s” apartment until the shaking started! That was like an mini earthquake, Plume.
You and my husband are both pack-rats. If there’s a flat place in the house, it gets covered up. How do either of you find anything? hee, hee
You may need to send a boat for me. We have rain every day for the next 10 days except for this coming Sat and Sunday. We are saturated here. We don’t need no more stinking rain!

Nice video of the apt -I am jealous that you can whistle. Hope your dentist visit goes well – I recently went the first time in approx 10 years. (so don’t feel bad). The first dentist office was really horrible -they harassed me for not going in so long & I heard them in the other room giving a guy a hard time for not having money to pay for some kind of procedure they wanted to do. Soooo I left there & found an awesome dentist instead. Hopefully yours is awesome too!

Debster – Sorry about the shaking. My alzheimers always kicks in at the wrng time.
That’s a horrible thing to joke about. I apologize.
My grandma on my dad’s side was a real packrat too. And I mean, a REAL one. I used to love visiting her apartment because she had stacks of ancient magazines and papers and junk. Fascinating for a little kid. She spoke a sort of Danish/Fininish/Swedish mix. I think. I always had a really hard time understanding her. So I was afraid to talk to her on the phone. Rest in peace, grandma,.
I will come in a gondola and sing serenades while sailing your husband and you around the ieghbourhood. Or maybe you’d rather bring the goats? (don’t tell him I said that)
Traci – I didn’t know I COULD whistle! Hah. The dentist visit went surprisingly well. So I’m not whistling due to missing teeth at least.
My dentist was quite nice. I’m glad I don’t have one like that one you met. Wowza. I wouldn’t want him pulling at my teeth!
