In Flox
Yesterday Denmark played against England in the footie. I only watched a little bit, because Denmark’s friendly games are usually horribly boring. But the little bit I did see was okay. And I could follow it very well. Follow the ball around. I’m looking forward to the Danish football season starting up again in March, I’ll be able to follow Brøndby’s games much better. The benefits of better eyesights are many.
Also yesterday I tried my eyedrops for the first time since the secondary cataract treatment. The eyedrops that dilate the pupils and make things brighter. And I found that I can no longer use them. I still have problems with my vision getting darker and yellowy when I sit at the computer for a while. I used to use the eyedrops to brighten it, but now that my vision is clearer the dilation of the pupil makes everything blurry. Before when I used the drops the dilation didn’t really cause problems because my eyesight was already blurry. So it made no difference. Now it does. That’s too bad of course, but it’s also evidence that my eyesight has gotten a fair bit better so I’ll take it as a positive.
Meanwhile, in Goatsville: youtube.com/watch?v=zmXaBQe3yHM. Grethe being poorly and Magnethe stealing her food.
I just had an idea for a valentines card. A picture of Magnethe with a bunch of chewed up stalks and the text “I got you a dozen red roses, but I ated them all”. I think you’ll that’s the most romantic card anyone could wish for. If only I had someone to give it to.

All games are horribly boring to me. Unless it’s like… Double Dare.
