Return of the Kingston
Well hello there. I am currently coming to you from my brandspanking new supercomputer running Windows 7 with massive savage beast powers.
It arrived on Friday as expected and I have been spending the time since then setting everything up. Going through settings and preferences. I have to say, I’m sure Win7 is a great operating system, but I miss XP. There are so many little niggles with W7 and things it won’t let me do and things that don’t work great with my eyesight situation. I had trained XP to work pretty well after some 10+ years. But, I am getting everything to work and I’m very happy with the new computer. I will write more when I have everything settled a little better. Still lots of stuff to do.
It’s exciting, though. And summer has returned. Sweet sunshine.

Hay, hay! I can’t tell any difference in your new computer from your old one. hee, hee
We had a thunderstorm this morning at about 5:15 am. Rain, lightening, thunder, and even some hail. Once I decided we weren’t going to blow away in the storm, I went back to sleep.
The hummingbirds are out in full force today. Guess the storm didn’t bother them. Even pea-sized hail would be deadly to a hummer. We’ve got to deliver some doors and trim to a customer today.
Have fun with your new computer!

Debster – That’s strange, there’s a big difference as far as I can see! It’s in the eyes of the beholder I guess.
It was thundering here yesterday morning. I was going to go to the playground. I had to talk to my dad first on the phone though, and he told me the weather was absolutely horrible and I should wear rain clothes. It turned out to be a really nice, very hot day. Almost no rain. I don’t think my dad has a future as a weatherman!

“Massive savage beast powers” . . . was your computer really marketed like that???? I wonder what demographic group they are trying to target! hee, hee
Yes, your Dad shouldn’t quit his day job just yet. Oops! He already has, hasn’t he? Maybe you ought to give him another chance as a weatherman. They just say it’s going to rain here . . . and they are right most of the time.
