Lemmings With Weapons

Not so much going on. Still struggling with computers, trying to get optimal perfomance. Weather varying from rain to sun. The goats are still good. Nothing new on Magnethe’s boy’s name. I asked Maria about it the other day and she said there was no decision yet, but that some were considering Preben. So I guess that’s still in play. Preben or Mikkel or my suggestion Tyson. We’ll see. My mother had a birthday and we went and had good eats at our local hang. There was the Norway thing, which is so insanely tragic that there’s nothing you can really write about it that would adequately cover it. My arm has been hurting but I think it’s getting better so hopefully I won’t have to go to the doctor with it. The soccer season has started up and I’m happy to be seeing Brøndby again. Even though I can’t see the games well I still appreciate that I can see them at all because there was one season where I had to give up on watching games on telly because my eyesight was so bad. Every little improvement is a sweet deal.

A little goat video: youtube.com/watch?v=IbsTqjy-b-M. Nothing amazing. I missed the best parts of Mio chasing the bunny around. At first she seemed curious about the bunny… “hmm what’s that for a little goat?”. And then she seemed to realize it wasn’t a goat at all. “Hey you’re no goat! This is the goat pen, you get outta here right now!”. And then she chased it around and tried to butt it. Little bunny was too fast for her, though.

And so time flies.

Snow White knows where to go to get good scratches. She was all but smiling when you were scratching her. That chicken chase looked interesting. Did the other chicken get caught?

Your grass is really, really green and thick. We still haven’t had any rain and the grass is getting brown and dry. It’s was 97 F (36 C) today with a “feels like” temperature of 110-115 F (43-46 C).

We were working inside . . . a factory! Was it ever hot even though there were big fans all over. The machines make it really hot and of course, there’s no air conditioning.

It was supposed to rain today hence working inside. But no rain here. Yesterday we worked outside on a historic building that is a museum and library in a small town. We were scraping loose paint and it was sure hot. We did have a slight breeze every now and then, but not much.

Greystoke was in the bird bath again last night, so I used my watering can to wet down the top of the kitty. He just layed there and let me “water” him. Then I did the same to Mama Calico. Greystoke got back at me though. He jumped up and sat down next to me on the bench, so I had a wet kitty mark on my shorts! Oh, well, we both felt better after we cooled off.

What’s wrong with your arm? Did you hurt it somehow?

Debster – Mio likes the scratches. She likes to sneak in when Magnethe wanders off and it’s safe to go near old Plumey.
They did get both chickens yes. And without using Mio’s headbutting technique too!
36 degrees.. that would be a little too high for me. It’s been nice here with 20-25. Although still with some rain.
We talk about the weather a lot, but we never do anything about it!
I hope you’re keeping a record of how much Greystoke grows when you water him. You’re going to have a giant kitty soon.
I’m not sure what was wrong with my arm. I think it’s better now. I’ve had something wrong with my shoulder for years though, feels like there’s a blockade in there. It hurts when I move it backwards and outwards too much. It doesn’t really bother my in every day life so I’ve just ignored it.. but I should talk to the doc some time. I just.. get tired of doctor’s offices.
