A Parliament Of Goats

We’re down to 7 degrees at night now? That is not nice, that is not nice at all. That’s so low that I have to close my air duct. Oh summer, I miss you already. I had been planning to work my butt off on the exercise bike, but I ended up spending months trying to fix my computer issues instead. Now the heat is almost gone and it’s much harder to work up a good sweat. Bummer.

Hopefully the computer troubles will be over soon, though. I fixed a lag issue. And also I’m sending the computer back. On Monday. Hopefully I can get a refund, at least a partial one. And then buy another one that’s better suited to my needs. And with the things I have learned on this one I should hopefully be able to run XP64 properly. And then everything will be fine and dandy. Like sugarfree candy.

A little goat video: youtube.com/watch?v=ZCYd6ySXjZA. Nothing special. Other than it being about goats. Which is always special. I’m sure you agree.

Election has finally been announced in Denmark. The opposition leads the polls. So I’m crossing my fingers. I don’t like our current government. Although it is amusing to watch the major meltdown they seem to be having in the campaigning. Politicians still make me cynical, though. The dishonesty and stupidity is amazing. I can’t stop picturing Benjamin Linus saying “we’re the good guys”. I think politicians lie more than Ben ever did.

Power to the goats.

I think you’re right about Linus lying less than politicians. The opposition is in the lead here also. The Texas governor that I’ve hated for years & years shall most likely become the next president. And this has happened before & it did not go well =( ::Sigh:: I’m glad your computer troubles will be over soon. That is a great thing at least! And power to the goats indeed.

My that is cool for this time of year. I hope we have a bit of a nice fall. One where we don’t have to have the air conditioner on or the heat!

Mio is such a lovely girl and so sweet. I like how she puts her front leg up on yours so she can scratch it easily. Our goats will come over and rub their itchy head or nose on our legs and think nothing of it. Goofy goats.

Were you able to go vote in the elections? Didn’t know if the polling place was hard to get to or if you could vote by mail and send it in early for counting? We have “absentee ballots” that a person can fill out and mail in early in case you were going to be gone on election day.

Traci – Really? Obama is going to lose? I knew he wasn’t doing so great, but I still figured he’d be re-elected, That’s a shame. I like Obama. Although I don’t know much about US politics.
    Politics schmolotics.

Debster – Mio is a very good goat. She’s so easy to be around. Magnethe you have to keep an eye on to make sure she’s not going to cause trouble. But Mio is the least mischievous goat I have ever met. So calm and gentle.
The election hasn’t started yet. It’s in a couple of weeks. I just got my election bill, or whatever it’s called today. We have an absentee ballot thing too, but I’m not sure I qualify for it. To vote by mail you have to be unable to get to the voting place. So I don’t know. I haven’t looked at it yet though.

I will kill myself if Sarah Palin gets anything.
