Mall Goats

Yesterday I went to pick up a package down in the big shopping center around the corner. It had been sent to a GLS package shop which was located in a PhotoCare store. That’s what the SMS I got said anyway. So I went down to do some grocery shopping and pick up the package. I remembered that the photo store was on the second of the three levels in the shopping center. Been years since I’d been down there, but I wouldn’t have any problem finding it.

Except it wasn’t there. In its place was a shoe store. No more photo store there. Things do change when you’re gone for years.

So I decided to press on. I was halfway through the second level. Went through the rest of the level. No photo stores. Then down to the third level. No photo stores down there either. Then back up to the top level and around in the corners. Nothing. Where did I finally find the photo store? Literally right opposite Føtex, where I do my grocery shopping. Right at the entrance of the center. Typical isn’t it? You walk around the whole place and then what you’re looking for is right where you came in. Well, so it goes when you can’t see very well. I can see and read the signs now, so I can find the place when I look for it. But my field of vision is so limited that if I just walk past something then I most likely won’t notice it. I have to stop and look directly at a sign to read it.

But I got my package and I got my groceries and I got a little adventure around the shopping center. All in a day’s work. And earlier in the day I had had fluffy times with goats. So that wasn’t a bad day.

And that’s all for story time today, kids.

Oh yeah, by the way… happy 11.11.11. I hope you made it count. At exactly 11:11 on 11.11.11 I updated my Facebook. Because that’s how much of a life I have!

Atleast you didnt get lost downthere and had to spend the night! It might have been cold.

  2. Plume Says:

Ann T. Krist – Haha yeah. It would have been a rough neighbourhood to set up base camp in

Are they decorating for Christmas already in your town, Plume? They are going “Christmas crazy” here already. I’ve seen 3 houses with Christmas trees lit up and one house had their outside lights on.

Where did Thanksgiving go? I know you don’t have Thanksgiving in Denmark but I think we do still (as far as I know). We plan on having a turkey next week on Thursday.

    Here, everyday is Thanksgiving!

  5. Plume Says:

Debster – I haven’t seen any christmas decorations yet. But then there’s a good chance I wouldn’t notice them. I’m sure it won’t be long anyway.
I hope you will have a nice thanksgiving!

    DAnn T. Krist – That’s the spirit!
