Upfate

A little update on my dad. He’s been in the hospital since my last entry. More than a week now.

He’s supposed to be coming home today. But they’ve sent him home twice before and both times he started feeling bad before he made it out of the hospital and they had to get him back in. So I don’t know if he’ll actually be home this time. But I guess I’ll know later.

They’re not sure what’s wrong with him. Lots of tests have been made. At first they thought maybe it was a blood clot in the leg. Then maybe a blood clot in the lungs. They checked for ulcers, the head, the heart.Other stuff. So far they haven’t come up with anything. It’s been quite worrying and scary. But at least he is hopefully getting better now. Mama is cooking up a pot of soup on Sunday, it would be nice if he was back for that. For a nice family dinner. I could use that now.

Update: I wrote this earler today. Now at the time of posting, my dad is actually back home. So that’s good. Still lots of tests and stuff to come, but let’s hope for the best. It has all been weighing heavily on my mind lately, naturally. But I don’t feel like writing too much about it here.

Hope you are all safe.

I’m glad he’s feeling better, but not at all glad that they can’t find out what’s going on! Very worrying!

Yes, it does mean in pregnant and I’ve no idea how it happened, either! Well, you know – it was obviously a wayward sperm that made its wicked way to an egg at the right time, but – you know – it certainly wasn’t planned! But we’re getting used to the thought and are beginning to look forward to welcoming a new little life into the world. Not to the birthing part, though. I think it’s only fair Adam does it this time! ;)

    Hugs. x

Desiree – Well isn’t that something! I just sent off a couple of presents your way. I guess next year I’ll have to up the budget! Well congratulations. I’m sure you’ll have another wonderful child on your hands. And I’m sure Adam won’t mind carrying it. I mean, if Schwarzenegger can then surely so can Adam!

Plume: hope they get things figured out with your Dad soon. Glad to hear he is at home now. We will be sending out good thoughts his way.

Desiree: Congrats on your good news! How does Adam feel about his new duties as the “mom” this go round! hee, hee The father seahorse carries the babies around in his pouch after birth.

Guess you would still have to do the “birthing” part. Oh, well. . .

Debster – Thanks Deb. I had nice soup with him yesterday. He’s getting better, hopefully thing will keep going in the right direction.
I’m sending you a little something for christmas. It’s just a little thing, it looked amusing on amazon but I don’t know what it will actually look like etc. But anyway if you get something odd in the mail it might be from me!

Yipee! You know I like “odd” things!

  6. Plume Says:

Debster – Don’t get too excited, it’s nothing special!

  7. Debster Says:

Oh, but I love “odd, non-special” things!
