Reality TV
I am currently enjoying leftover soups.
Yes, mama made soup. And we all know how much I enjoy that. It might be my favourite part of winter, now that the snow is too cold for me.
I had a good time on Sunday. Soup with the family. It was good to see my dad again. Up and about. Seemed like he was doing better. But still not okay yet. Hopefully things will keep getting better. Time will tell.
I’m not much in the mood for writing though. Here is a goat video: youtube.com/watch?v=6g73QfsG4Ik. Nothing too exciting. But some bits with the new goat.
Yesterday I had an appointment at the foot therapist. My last one with him. As I have previously mentioned he is stopping at the end of the year. So it was kind of sad saying goodbye to him. I have enjoyed knowing him, he’s a good guy. I hope things will work out for him wherever he goes now. He told me he didn’t really have a new job set up yet. I wished him luck with that and told him it had been a pleasure knowing him. He said likewise. I hope whoever takes over is just as nice. I don’t like meeting new people, but I don’t have much choice.
And finally, I got a christmas present today! A lovely homemade calendar from Desiree. It’s getting to be something of a tradition. A very lovely one. She has a beautiful family and it’s not going to get any worse now that she’s adding to it. Thank you!
And that’s all for now. I know the writing ain’t what it used to be. But at least I’m still here.

You ALWAYS open your pressies early, Plume! I’m surprised Santa hasn’t put you on his naughty list yet! ;) But I’m glad you like the calendar. Raven put SO much energy and love into making it! She loves drawing and making stuff – well, they both do, but Arthur prefers making light sabres and large vehicles out of cardboard boxes. He point blank refused to draw a picture for the calendar! The ingrate! But he did offer to make a light sabre. Now, before you get too excited, he makes light sabres by rollenup a piece of paper into a tube and wrapping it in kilometres of cellotape. It works for him. :/ :)
I hope you’re dad is well soon. Glad to hear your mum is still making the soup! :))

Desiree – It seems to be a bad habit of mine! But oh it’s only christmas once a year, for a couple of months in November and December!
You must thank Raven a lot. They are lovely drawings. I wasn’t sure if Arthur might have drawn some of them, as you know I don’t see too well. But it’s just too darn sweet! There’s noithing like a good homemade calendar, the gift that keeps on giving all year.
Arthur sure is a little genius! I’m sure that’s how Luke Skywalker made his first light sabre too! The force is strong with that boy!

The new goat girl has such pretty soft colors. She seemed interested in you when everyone was tied up and not chasing her away.
That pig sure gave us a big smile when you were scratching its head! You know just where to scratch.
That was a noisy thunderstorm you were having during the video. You still have so much more green grass than we do. We did have rain the last few days. Several inches, I think.
Mmmm….soup.

Hay, Hay! I just received the “goat crossing” sign. It’s really cute. I’ve seen all kinds of other animal crossing signs, but never a pygmy goat sign.
We’ll have to hang it up on the shed where curious goatzies can’t nibbble on it. Thank you so much!

Debster – Hey, that was nice timing. I got your present today too. Thank you! Those are some sweet, silly squirrels. I’m pretty sure we have squirrels in Denmark, but not around where I live. But now I have some of my very own in my apartment.
It’s funny that I should get two calendars, but they’re both very cute so I’m not going to complain!
