Prince Of The Yolk Folk
I am not in the cheeriest of moods. But I thought I should not let that stop me from posting playground videos from Wednesday. If anything that might cheer me up some. So here they are.
youtube.com/watch?v=HPjgZqidlks. Just a bit of general goating around, nothing really outstanding. But I did miss my goaties in the snow and it was great to see them again.
youtube.com/watch?v=qzE6Xv-KzGk. Just a short one of Magnethe using my phone. And when I say using my phone I mean seeing if it’s edible or not.
youtube.com/watch?v=j0BGT490yrM. And finally another short one, but not of the goats. I met Bodil and her little doggie Sif. It was good to see them again. Sif came running around the corner and jumped up on my leg. She can barely reach my knee I think. But she was happy to see me. In the video Bodil tries to get her to “sit”. But the snow is a little too cold for that trick.
It’s been dreadfully cold, but at least for the next week’s time the day temperatures should be above zero. So that would be a treat. I am so ready for winter to be over. I could use a little sunshine, just to butter my toast.
Yeah that’s all, folks.

We’ve had fairly nice weather here lately-even sunshine! Hooray. Those dark dreary days get me down.
Nice to see the goatzies again and especially Sif and Bodil. Our boys would like to see some green, green grass again. Hay is okay, but green grass is better!

I had a nice time with the animals yesterday. Everyone received scratches and a good combing out. It was cool, but sunny outside. Perfect for sun-loving goats, donkey, and human to enjoy.
Even the cats received scratches and a good brushing out. Everyone looks so nice. Billy got his shoulders rubbed which almost put him to sleep. His fur was so nice and warm. When the little breeze would let up, even I got sleepy and warm and pretended I was a “basking goat” as well.
Frankie went over to the shed and leaned his head against it. We call this the “holding the shed up” pose! Frankie does this a lot. Snickers was even nice and I was able to comb the front half of the donkey (just don’t look at the back half).
I combed the tangles from John Boy’s long hair and he smiled back at me. Billy was doing his “grooming the human” by nibbling on my jacket, jeans, and tail of my flannel shirt. At least I didn’t get “cudded”!
Looks like another sunny day, a little above freezing, but I’m not complaining as long as the sun’s out and it’s not too windy.

Debster – I want to be reborn as one of your goats! It sounds like a good life. I think I would make a good goat!
