Pandakegger
Oh boy. If I blogged more often you might have noticed that I have had some downtime. Computer trouble, again.
It all started a week and a half ago. I was out having dinner with the family. My brother’s belated birthday dinner. We went down to Rådhuscaféen, our usual place. I got my usual pork dish. My mother always tries to get me to try something new. But I know what I like and I like what I know. Plus bringing leftovers home for two days makes me happy.
Anyway, that’s not the point. The point, as it were, is that when I got home I went and turned on my computer to go on Facebook and say… basically what I just said above. But my computer wouldn’t boot. Windows wasn’t working.
And fast-forward through all the boring stuff. I think things are working now. But it has once again been a lot of troubling around with the computer. I do not enjoy it. But I’m sure from now on everything will work perfectly for the rest of my life. And nothing could possibly go wrong, especially after saying that.
I have been enjoying the weather on the other hand. I think we went about 10 degrees Celsius today. Oh glory. So much better for me than the frost. Temperatures are going to drop though, and we’ll have below zero nights again. But hopefully it will crawl back up and I can has more warmth. And nothing could possibly go wrong, especially after saying that.
I have also found the time to do a little socializing with goats. And of the videos there are:
youtube.com/watch?v=VHira_mZnS8.
youtube.com/watch?v=EfHhDjTvKQs.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just simple goat times for simple people ie me. You can see the progress from snowy to sunny. I really can’t wait for summer. I haven’t seen a buck at the playground yet, but assuming one will still be coming soon then I think the goat kids will be arriving during the summertime. That would be a warm and joyful time.
Other than that not much going on. Did I mention I bought new dumbbells? I have 5 kg ones and I do use them, but they’re a little too heavy to be handy. I bought a 1kg one and a 2kg one. And funnily enough I found if I use them both then that’s a good weight to do some exercises. I guess I should have bought a 3kg one.
And so it flows, the river of time. Where it takes us nobody knows.

My dearest! You probably don’t remember me (waterstain from diaryland) but I’ve been looking for you, and I have found you! I haven’t read much yet but I hope life has treated you well. <3

bethany – Ah! I saw you follow me on twitter and I thought to myself I thought “there’s something familiar about this…” but I couldn’t place it. My memory is so horrible. But I do remember waterstain! From the good old diaryland days. Good times. That’s so funny!
I don’t blog as much as I used to these days. It has sort of dwindled down because I spout my nonsense on facebook instead.

Hi! I wondered where you were.
It’s so windy here today. Good thing the goats are plump enough or I’d have to tie them together so they didn’t blow away in the wind.
Magnethe is very wooly this year. Our boys have thick hair, but no wooly bits like yours do. I’ll bet your spring nesting songbirds all have wooly goat hair lining their nests!
Our robins, red-winged blackbirds, killdeers, and turkey vultures have all migrated back in our area. Seems a little early, but it has been a very mild winter with not nearly as much snow as last year.

Debster – Yes. Magnethe has some nice frosty tips. It looks almost like she’s a cake and someone put frosting on her. Hehe. It amuses me when I have to pull a big tuft of wool from her horns because she’s been scratching herselg with them.

Maybe you need to gather her wool and knit yourself a cozy “goat sweater”. Wouldn’t Magnethe be surprised when you showed up looking like her!
I think two of our long-haired cats could provided enough hair for a couple of hats or earmuffs. Or maybe I could just skip the knitting part and drape a cat over my head. Now that’s an idea . . . will let you know how that works.
It’s dreary today and looks like we’ll have some rain. At least yesterday was nice and sunny with very little wind – unlike the windy day before.

Debster – I wonder if I could get Bob to sit on my head, that would probably keep my ears warm!
