Happy Goatsday
It’s been a big week. Mainly because…
Mia turned two!
Her birthday was on Thursday. I went up to the playground nice and early and let the goats out in the pen. I brought a flag, obviously, to celebrate. And just so happened there was a few adults and kids there when I let the goats out. They saw the flag and asked if anyone had a birthday. And then they proceeded to sing a little birthday song for Mia! Aw. More visitors came and also asked about the flag and they all wanted to know about Mio’s belly too. Hard to overlook that. Definitely babies on the way.
But it was a nice day. I brought three pears for Mia. Had them lying around in my apartment for a while to get them good and overripe. Yum. Juicy. Delicious treat for her and Palle. I should have baked her a raisin cake too. Maybe next year. She was happy with the offering, though. Also tried to eat the flag.
I can’t believe she’s only two years old. I feel like I’ve known her all my life. And yet I still think of her like a little baby who can jump up on my back. Haha. She makes me happy every time I see her. Hopefully there will be many good years to come. She’s definitely one special goat princess.
I almost feel like it might have been my birthday too. Got a lovely T-shirt in the mail. Thank you, Debbie! Beautiful. And when I come visit I’ll just head for the star! X marks the spot. I don’t know what I did to deserve that, but thank you. On the wings of hummingbirds, almost.
I’m pretty tired now, though. So I think we’ll just go to the photos. Here’s some I prepared earlier.
I made a meme of the Kamelface.
And another stupid tomato picture. I have too much time on my hands. And too many tomatoes.
Hey humans, are you going to feed us or what?!
Kamel and Mio do get along sometimes.
I love how she stands perfectly still when I hit just the right spot.
Just getting handsomerer and handsomererer.
Couple of nice shots beneath the rainclouds and sunshine.
And Herman on the hill. Am I the only one who thinks that cloud looks like a goat?
I guess Kamel wanted to be in the shot too.
Trying to get a picture with just me and Mia on the bench…. good luck with that!
And a goatlog. With Mia’s birthday of course, but lots of other fun goat stuff as well.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next obiwan.

Mia is two? Wow, she doesn’t seem that old. That was nice to celebrate her birthday with the flag and singing Happy Birthday to her. Is flag-waving and birthdays linked together in Denmark?
We like tomatoes, too. The people we were working for gave us some garden fresh tomatoes and some eggs. Got to love that fresh produce this time of year.

Yes. flag waving is traditional in Denmark. Never occured to me it might not be everywhere! Haha. But yes, my little Mia is two years old. And she just had siblings! Check the new entry.
I haven’t had eggs in months. I used to love tomatoes on egg sandwiches mme.
