Covergoats

It’s been a pretty quiet week. No goats leaving, no soup to eat. Why the most exciting must have been…

Changing the cover photo on Mia’s Facebook page. Lucky 6 now. I miss Herman. That nutty goofball. I hope he’s doing well at his new home.

Other than that, it’s been cold weather and time spent with goats. I bought a down vest which seems to be effective. We’ll see how well it copes when it gets even colder. I’ll probably be ballooning up even more. With thermal shirt, blouse, vest and fleece. And coat. We’ll see. We’ll all see.

I think for now we’ll just see some more goat photos.

Mia sweetness.

Look at Clark poking his head in. “Don’t forget me, guys!

You’re supposed to look at the camera for family photo time, Bruce.

We can haz raisins?

Little Clark is such a dollface.

Mia always makes it better when I’m down.

I always feel like, somebody’s watching me.

Mia’s new favourite place. That was where I taught her to shake paws. So now she’ll jump up there and look at me expectantly. “Where are my panuts? I’ll shake your hand, just give me peanuts”. And if I don’t come with peanuts she’ll just stand there and chew her cud with a good vantage point over the pen.

Got a little hay on your face there, Mia.

Always a fight for the spotlight.

And a goatlog. With lots of chewing. Hay, peanuts. cud. And Bruce playing on my back.

And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

They are all so sweet! Love me some goatzies. Our boys were eating a late supper as we were late getting home tonight. No complaints though, they were all happy for some hay and warm water.

It has warmed up and has been raining all day and foggy tonight. It is supposed to turn from rain to snow overnight with maybe an inch of snow by morning.

This next Thursday is Thanksgiving. I’m making a pumpkin pie, baked beans, and taking a veggie tray and some dip. My sister is making the turkey, dressing, and mashed potatoes. My Mom is bringing an apple pie, rolls, and apple salad. Think we will have enough to eat? Hee, hee.

Should be plenty of leftovers to take home for the weekend. Hooray!

Well at least we’re not in danger of snow yet! Just mud. All mud. Happy Thanksgiving, after the fact! We don’t celebrate it here of course, but it’s always good to remember the things you’re thankful of. Your food sure sounds like something to be thankful for! Mmmm. Now I’m hungry. Maybe I’ll get a tomato.. that’ll have to do for me!
