Muddy Waters

Thanksgiving has passed, but I’m still thankful for friends, family and of course goats. Along with everything else I have in my quite priviliged life. Here’s Mia’s message:

I am also thankful that the sun came back. After a long, dark stretch. Good to see it again. Even if it’s still cold. And colder. We needed some sunshine in the goat pen too. It’s been such a mudfest. The poor goats trying to jump from lifeboat to lifeboat. Every little stepping stone they can find to keep out of the mud. There is no escape! Hopefully the sun will stay and improve things.

On Thursday I brought my inflatable gym ball back to the playground. Same result as last time, though. The goats are still scared of it. I took Bruce and Clark out of the pen, hoping I could get them to play with it. But no luck. I did get them both, and Mia as well, to step up on it to reach an offered treat. But any sign of it moving would send them darting off into the distance. Oh well! I left the ball there, maybe they can get used to it if it just lays in the corner of the pen and isn’t threatening anyone. You never know.

I got myself a new duvet. It’s super warm and comfy and lovely. And I spent entirely too long in bed just enjoying the feeling of it. Aah. I was supposed to exercise today. But there is no time for dreamers.

So it goes. Go go goat photos.

A new box for the goats to stand on. Trying to avoid the mud.

And a goatlog. With sunshine and mud. Goats balancing on things to avoid the mud. Bruce and Clark scared of the gym ball, play fighting and climbing on my back. A cucumber for Mia. And such fun.

And that’s all for this week folks, see you in the next one.

Did you happen to see “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever” show on TV? We both liked it and thought it was so corny that it was cute!

The critics didn’t have much good to say about it, but what do they know anyway. I’d never heard much about Grumpy Cat but guess she’s quite the star in the cat world.

I’ve been singing “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” all day from “GCWCE” show last night! I had never heard that song either.

Note to self: Come out from under my rock more often!

I didn’t watch that no, don’t think it’s aired in Denmark. But I’m not stranger to Grunoy Cat. She’s quite popular on Facebook, I often see memes of her posted by others.
Speaking of Facebook, I have a friend who LOVES hippos. I just found that songon youtube and posted it to her.

I just saw where Grumpy Cat made her owner 100 million dollars! What we need to do is promote “Grumpy Goat.”

I could really use a couple million dollars. How about you? Do you have any grumpy goats?

  4. Plume Says:

I wouldn’t mind a hundred million or two! Maybe if I stop giving out peanuts, the goats will get grumpy. I’m not sure I have the heart for that, though!
