The Snow After Christmas
So there it was, merry christmas!
Here’s a little christmas card from Palle.
Jolly. It was a nice little christmas here. I spent some time with the goats first. Gave them some christmas treats. Then went and celebrated with the family. Watched the Disney cartoon and had the food. Just as it’s supposed to be. I even found the almond in the risalamande. So things couldn’t have worked out better.
Then the night after christmas eve it snowed. We JUST missed a white christmas. If we had celebrated on the 25th like the rest of the world we would have gotten a white one. But it’s been lovely. Even though the cold is hard on me, I still enjoy the pretty snowscapes. Goats in the snow. Good times. With sunshine one day and fog the other. Lovely. Now it really is winter.
I got a nice present at the playground too. Some chocolate and goodies. But what made me most happy was the card that thanked me for all the time I spend there and the things I do. That was really sweet to hear. It’s good to feel appreciated. Ten years. My oh my. It’s been a ride.
Now we’re counting down to the new year. Almost there. I just want the holiday season to be safely over. I always worry about the goats. But I am sure everything will be fine.
I am afraid, however, that I have a bloody lot of pictures to post today. What with the christmas and the snow and the fog and all. I think this may be the most I’ve ever posted in one go. So better get to it.
Kamel not delighted with having to wear the santa hat. Peanuts improved the situation, though.
Mia’s turn with the hat. Oh the things we make them do.
There’s snow place like Lassepladsen.
And finishing off with a series from a lovely walk in the foggy snow morning.
And a goatlog. With fun before christmas, during christmas and after christmas. With the snow.
And that’s all for this year folks, see you in the next one.

I think the goatzies were surprised to see the snow when the barn door opened. “It didn’t look like this when we went to bed!”
Palle wanted to sit in your lap, lick your face, and lean his head on your shoulder. He makes quite a lap-full of goat.
So you found the almond! That means you’ll have good luck all next year. Your dessert sounds good.
It has taken a turn of colder weather today. Brrrr…., my husband put some more straw in for the goats and donkey. They were watching him intently while he was doing it.
Hard to believe another year is almost over! Wishing you a very happy and prosperous New Year in 2015.
I think we are staying home on New Year’s Eve and fixing a nice supper, then watching the celebration on television (Times Square in New York) with Ryan Seacrest, and maybe stay up till midnight. If I’m lucky.

I think they like the snow better than the mud… but only just!
Palle has developed a habit of trying to squeeze himself in when I’m hugging Mia. He just wants to be a part of it! Cutiepie.
Happy New Year! It’s 2015 here now. I staid home for a quiet time. As quiet as it can be with the explosions outside. Here’s to a good year ahead!
