Goatburglar

Had a bit of a nasty surprise at the playground. Came in Thursday morning and found the goats out in the pen all by themselves. The place was closed and nobody was around. But it seems someone had smashed in the hatch they use to go from inside and out to the pen. Someone had broken in. Luckily all the goats were there and they didn’t seem hurt or anything. I hope it was just stupid kids and that they didn’t harass the goats too much. Sometimes humans are just… not very humane. As Morrissey would say. I’m just glad the goats were okay. It must have happened Wednesday after closing time. So I guess they had free access to the pen all night. They seemed a little confused. But mostly just hungry. As always. I’ve been spending good times out in the green buffet with them. I got Dennis to find me the leashes we use to tie them down with. So now I can spend some time just sitting in the grass and watching them eat. Instead of chasing them around and trying to keep them out of trouble constantly. That’s quite nice. I’ll still give them free time too, though.

In other news, the humans built a pizza oven in the green buffet.

There it is. A pizza oven. And me trying to beat my pizza addiction… oh dear! It’s like a sign from above. That I should eat more pizza. That’s how I interpret it anyway. It almost looks a little like a goat palace. The goats could use a palace.

Anyway, that’s about all from this week. I’ve been working hard on the exercising. Feels good. Getting closer to getting close to where I want to be. I’ll keep at it. And now, go go goat photos.

The whole goat family. Mia with her two boys and Mio with her Popcorn.

And videos.

And that’s all for this week folks, see you in the next one.

Well breaking in the goat pen was sort of a silly thing to do. Did they think they were breaking into a bank? Everyone knows goats don’t keep money where they sleep! Good to hear they were all okay.

A pizza oven??? That what it looks like, but why would anyone put a pizza oven there? Really, what is it exactly? Is it a quaint old Danish custom to bake pizzas in the goat corral during the summer solstice?

I think it must have been rowdy kids with too much time on their hands. Vandals. Still scary though. Especially since we’ve had chickens and birds stolen before..
It is a pizza oven. For baking pizza. And probably other kinds of bread. I guess it’s just a thing for the kids at the playground (Or actually, The Club. That’s the place most ressources go these days). We do have little campfire places there too, so I guess it’s just for kids to be baking stuff in the free.
