The Brief Snow
It’s been an up’n’down sort of week. The cough has been coming and going. And other minor ailments. Just haven’t been feeling in tip top condition. But it’s alright. I’ll soldier on. That’s what heroes do. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go shine my halo.
The biggest event was snow. We got a nice helping of the cold, white stuff. I had a nice snowday with the goats on Monday. The cold is hard for me, but I do enjoy seeing the goats in the snow. Always a treat. This was Peanut’s first real snow fun. I went back and looked at the old videos. He had ONE snow day when he was little. That was actually the first day he went outside. But the snow had all melted by the time he went out. He stood inside and watched it fall. And later in the day it melted and he went outside. Sweet to look back at those memories. And now he’s had his first real snow experiences. I don’t think they’re fans of the wetness and the cold, but once they get out in it they’re fine. I let them out of the pen and they roamed around freely, looking for food. Picking fallen leaves from the snow. The next time I went to see them the snow was all gone and they were able to get back on grass. Still edible, luckily!
Today I’ve had a major internet outage and Denmark is being hit by a big storm. Hope there will be no trees crashing into the goat pen this time!
And now on with pictures. First of some snow.
And videos.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

Hey Plume, now that we are nearing Christmas I recollected the old Christmas video you made from the 24th evening som years ago, and want to watch it. Does it still exist on youtube or elsewhere? Please pass the link, thanks. Dont say it has been deleted that would be an unacceptable answer.

Oh it still exists. There are 3 christmas videos in fact. I’m guessing you mean the first one:

I’m glad they can bring some christmas spirit!

Thanks Plume, yeah that was the one!
Why did your parents get rid of the house?
December 3rd, 2015 at 23:27
Kids moved out and they wanted something smaller and cheaper that better suited their needs.

How nice to watch your old Christmas videos. We go to my parents house on Christmas eve for a meal, open presents, and have coffee and dessert afterwards.
I like to watch “The Christmas Story” with little Ralphie and how all he wants is a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas. I’ve already watched “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” (the animated version).
How’s your Mom and Dad doing this year?

I saw that BB gun one on youtube not too long ago. I don’t really have any traditional christmas movies, although I do like to catch Bill Murray in Scrooged if I can, and the Disney special at home if possible.
Unfortunately my mother is currently in the hospital. She had a pretty serious episode, but she should be back out in a couple of weeks if all goes well. It’s been pretty scary.

I like Scrooged, too. It always makes me laugh and Bill Murray is such a goof-ball.
I read your most recent post about your Mom being in the hospital. Hope she continues to improve and can return home soon. Are you able to visit with her or call her?

Yes I’ve been to see her. Hopefully she’ll be allowed to come home soon now
