The Pulling Of The Leash
Not much new to report. I went with my dad to visit my mother in the hospital. She’s getting better and will hopefully be able to come home soon. Her leg is still not good, though. My dad said it was the worst he’d ever seen it. We happened to be there just as the doctor (with some students, I think) was doing his rounds. And they took off the bandages. Even with my limited eyesight I could see that it was not in good condition. But hopefully it will get better too. All the levels that had been dangerously high were coming back to normal at least, so that’s good. I’m not much use in these kinds of visits, but it was good to see her anyway.
The goats are doing good. I’m still taking them out of the pen to eat grass, when the rain isn’t too bad. It’s nice that there’s still edible grass. Even if it’s not summerfresh and green now. In the summer they race out of the pen when I open the gate. Now they casually and carefully go out and I practically have to drag them to the grass. Especially grandma Mio. She hates getting her hooves muddy. She’ll stop at the edge of the grass and look at the other goats grazing. It takes some pulling on the leash before she joins them. But then she realises that the grass is good and she starts eating.
I’ve been getting more mail from nice Facebook friends. My friend Katt has apparently arranged a big campaign and gotten a lot of my friends to send postcards and presents. They’re all way too nice. I got a painting done by Angeline from Belgium. Of a goat. Perfect! And a wall map. And a book. And a calendar. And a plushie kangaroo. And more. They’re all good people, I can’t help feeling like I don’t deserve it all. The mailman must think I’m a rockstar. It’s lovely.
And now goat photos, starting with a little birthday greeting photo I made to post for birthday people on Facebook.
And videos.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

I’m glad you got to visit with your Mom. Bet she was happy to have a visitor, too. Hope she continues to improve and is able to return home soon.
My Mom was in the hospital overnight last week and we were worried about her. She seems to be feeling better. It is so hard to deal with having your parents being ill, isn’t it?
You certainly do deserve all the cards, gifts, and letters you have been receiving! What would we all do without our dear danish goat boy posting goat pictures and videos? Nothing like seeing pictures of happy smiling goatzies, and of you too, of course!

Hope your mother is feeling better as well. It’s not fun, no. Let’s hope all is well with all.
I enjoy sharing the pictures and videos! I’m happy people are liking them. Almost 4000 followers on Mmia’s Facebook page. That’s pretty neat. Hope it doesn’t go to her head!
