The Force Awaits

Quiet week. Nothing new to report. About anything really. Gearing up for christmas. And by that I mean exercising to lose weight so I can eat unhealtily for the holidays without hating myself too much afterwards. Haha. I have lost 11 pounds in two weeks. So that’s not too bad. I look forward to putting it all on again on Christmas Eve.

The goats are fine. Peanut got a little cross with me the other day, though. Him and Palle got burdocks stuck in their fur on one of our outings. Palle has a pretty calm and easy going demeanor. Getting them off him was easy. But I think Peanut’s fluffier fur made it harder on him. And he’s still got a bit of a wild stallion in him. Maybe because we didn’t get him castrated until after he was all juiced up. In any case, he was not pleased with me when I was trying to get the burdocks off him. Oh dear. He’d forgotten about it the next time I saw him, though. So that’s okay.

We also had a little group of kids stop by and sing a christmas song for the goats. They were busy eating hay, so they didn’t pay too much attention to it. Peanut did go check them out. But it was cute having the kids sing to us.

Meanwhile I’ve been trying to not be jealous at everyone who has seen The Force Awakens. Grargh.

Let’s go to the photos.

The boys had an epic street fight. They were going at it for ages. While bicycles and walkers went by. Quite a spectacle.

And videos.

And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

Lions and tigers and bears! Oh, no! Goats and chickens and carrots! Oh, no!

Our boys get into horn clacking on occasion. They will stand up on their hind legs like they really mean business. Or sometimes just push each other. They used to knock horns all the time when they were younger. Oh, to have that much energy.

Are you all ready for Christmas? I think we are ready. I have a party on Monday evening with the book club I belong to. We will discuss our recent book, eat a cookie, discuss some more, eat some fudge, and repeat.

We saw some pretty Christmas lights the other evening. Some people go all out with lights and inflatable decorations. I don’t like the inflatables – they scare me!

Merry christmas! It’s all done here now. We usually spend it at home, but this year had to be out in a fancier dinging place. It was a little tough on me, but it was good to be with the family and get some good food. Jolly! Hope you guys have a great time!

Merry Christmas, dear Lasse! We had a great Christmas eve, too.
