Swing Swung

It’s been a week of mood and weather swings. I’ve been up and I’ve been down. But I’m okay. And the weather has gone from icely cold sunshine to milder with a bit of snow. Hopefully that’s the last we’ll see of the snow for now. I’d like some spring soon.

The goat kids are doing great. Ping has an ear that seems to bend backwards at times. How peculiar. But maybe that’ll make it easier for me to tell him apart from Pong. When they race around I can rarely tell who’s who. But I can identify the fuzzball. Fuzzy loves to come over for some scratchies and cuddles. He’s the big lapgoat, while the twins prefer to race around.

I got some pictures on Mia’s page of Peanut. He’s doing well. But looking huge now. Maybe it’s because I’ve been spending so much time with little babies. He looks like a grown man. He’ll get such a surprise when he comes back home. Things sure have changed.

And so it goes. Upwards and onwards.

And videos.

And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

I think someone was playing “gonna get a goat” or maybe “gonna get a Lasse”! Palle was really having fun chasing after you and when you were chasing after him.

Was Palle in the rabbit’s pen eating their food or were they in his stall? He sure didn’t seem to mind bunnies running under him and around him while he was eating.

    How is your brother doing?

  2. Plume Says:

I love goofing around with Palle. He’s so easily excitable. He was living with the bunnies for a while, just while the babies were seperated and needed their space. So the bunnies got a new, big, room mate. But Palle is back with the rest now.
My brother is still in the hospital, Things are moving along, he has started dialysis treatments and I think it’s going okay.

Was this a real sudden illness with your brother? I don’t remember you ever saying much about him being ill before. Are you doing ok?

  4. Plume Says:

Well, they figure he might have had too high blood pressure for years, and that’s what messed up his kidneys. But yes, for us it was sudden. He started feeling bad and got some blood tests done and then he was rushed straight to the hospital. Went very fast all of a sudden. I’m doing okay. Up and down. But getting along.

We will be sending good thoughts to your brother and family. I hope you are taking good care of yourself.

Sometimes when I get stressed out, I don’t always take care of myself. Be sure to get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, and hug a goat as often as possible!

Thank you. I’m doing my best, trying to get back to healthy ways. Getting there! And my brother is back hoem now, so hopefully everything will go according to plan.
