Raisin’ Hell
Another week gone. The little goat kids are growing. A month old now, can you believe it. It’s wonderful to see how well Fuzzy is doing. He was so tiny and fragile the first days. But now he’s just a big bundle of joy. He doesn’t have all the goating down to perfection like Peanut, but he’s got some of the same ego and heart. He still doesn’t back down for the twins. Have I mentioned on here that Ping has a wonky ear? It’s like watching one of those lizards with eyes that move independently of each other. It just has a mind of its own. It looks so funny when it points backwards.
They’ve had their first taste of raisins now. Which means they’re super eager for more. Pong especially has already learned to do a little dance and beg for more. And my nose has been nibbled more than once.
On the home front there is good news. My brother has been discharged from the hospital and is back home. So now he just has to get used to the new way of life, with dialysis and careful diet. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. I think they still have some tests to do. Crossing fingers for something useful to come back.
And that’s all for now. On with photos.
And videos.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

That’s good to know that your brother is home from the hospital. Does he live by himself or does he have someone looking in on him? Hope all goes well for him.
I think you are running a Denmark tourist attraction with your Facebook page on “Mia, the cutest goat ever in Denmark”. Sounds like all your followers want to come visit you and the goatzies!
Better have a little “welcome to Denmark” speech prepared just in case someone shows up. You are becoming quite the social butterfly of Denmark especially since you have such insanely cute goatzie friends.

He lives on his own, but I think my parents are looking after him well.
We should be in the travel books! Surely our goat pen is the main attraction of Denamrk! Maybe we can get a grant from the tourist board!

Now you’re thinking! Go after that grant money for goatzies. I feel sorry for people who don’t have their own goats to scratch and hug.
It was nice on Saturday, so we had the donkey’s hooves trimmed. I went out later and combed the goats and cats. Billy is starting to shed those little furry bits of hair. Everyone looked so nice when I was finished.
I don’t know who enjoyed the combing more, me or the goats! Afterwards both goats layed down then the donkey followed. Nice to spend time in the sunshine with drowsy, warm goats and watch them chewing their cud.
Watching them eat hay never gets old and they sure love their scratches.
