Burnout

Well, something happened this week, that’s for sure.

We had a fire at the playground Thursday night. Apparently there were people partying around 3 am. At 3:30 there was a fire. I hope it was an accident. But apparently, and I didn’t even realise, there was a smaller fire on Monday night. I hope this isn’t going to be a trend…

Luckily no one was hurt. And the goats are all fine and pretty much unconcerned. Although I’m sure they must have been confused inside during the night. But as long as they’re okay, that’s what matters.

Yeah, the world needs more respect, kindness and…

And videos.

And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

Oh, no! How could someone be so careless? What building is this at the playground? None of the other animals were hurt, were they?

That really upsets me and makes me mad. How could somebody do that to those poor animals? It had to be upsetting to them to smell smoke. They need some security cameras or something there at the playground.

It’s the big, red main building. You can often see it in the background in videos from the goat pen. None of the animals were hurt, luckily the smoke blew away from them. There was a police advisory for the apartment block next to us to keep doors and windows closed because the smoke could be dnagerous. Sad sad.

Is it the main office building at the playground? Any tips on who started it or why?

Sorry to see on Mia’s blog about Fuzzy’s leaving. He was such a sweet little guy. The playground is like some of our petting zoos. They need baby goats because everyone likes the babies, but they grow up and can’t keep all of them. I hope his new family falls in love with him as we all have.

Yes, it’s the main office building. Not really being used much as office anymore. There were reports of people partying down there just before it happened. But I haven’t heard anything more.
It’s tough having to say goodbye to the kids. I wish we could just keep them all.
