Good goat times today. Cold morning. Down to 0C/32F. Brr. Luckily it was a lovely, sunny day. So it did get better. And the forecast says it’ll be a little warmer ahead. So maybe I can keep going with a t-shirt and light jacket for a while yet.
Out in the greens with the goaties. Less and less green as well, but there’s still grass to much on at least.
And something new happened. I managed to teach Sassy how to shake hoof! I’ve been trying to teach Nuller, but he hasn’t been picking up on it. And it’s not like I want to stress it, he does plenty of silly stuff. But I got Sassy doing it for the first time today. She’s not as good as Mia, she needs more prodding with a treat to do it. With Mia I just have to put my hand out and she’ll shake it. I don’t know if Sassy will get that good, or even retain what she learned today. But it’s something. It’s nice when you can do little tricks to entertain the visitors and kids.

Watching the season premiere of Mr Robot. That show gets my heart pumpkin. So does The Good Place, but in a different way. I’m sad those shows are on their last season now. But I’m glad they both get to end it their own way instead of running themselves into the ground and cancellation. I hope they both manage to deliver satisfying conclusions. And then I’ll have no more favourite shows going.
Oh wait, Rick And Morty. At least there will be that.
Might be time to rewatch Lost for the 17th time. It’s been a few years now.’

I find it baffling that at this point there are still grown ass adults who don’t believe in climate change. And who think it’s something you can believe or not believe in. In the face of all credible science. You choose to listen to the crackpot fringe, to the people who.. coincidentally are also the people who support all the EPA rolblack. All the drilling of Alaska, shooting hibernating bears in the face, importing ivory, unprotecting bees. The side that values corporate greed over the environment, those are the ones you’re going to listen to in this matter? The people who think a sky wizard created the world in 7 days and there was an ark with two of every animal? The side that posts selfies of dead endangered animals and big grins? THOSE FUCKING PEOPLE instead of science tists?
You wanna get triggered by woke Swedish teenagers, fine. Your snowflake is going to melt and your kids and animals are going to suffer.
Even if you don’t think we’re heading towards massive global disaster, fighting climate change is still GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. It has to be global mass extinction before you care about the environment? Selfish prick.

Good goat times today. One of those mornings where depression was hounding me to crawl back into bed. I’m glad I made it out instead. The weather was quite lovely. Above 10C/50F, which is all you can ask for this time of year. The ground was wet and muddy, but the suns shined mostly while I was with the goats. The forecasted rain later on came just as I was almost home. So that was finy timing.
Athough the goats didn’t aprpeciate the muddy ground. Too bad uncle forgot the red carpet.
Today is the last day before the school fall vacation. Which means… exercise day. There’s no scool today, all the kids have to go out and run instead. I remember dreading that day when I was a kid. The idea of running 5 kilometres seemed like an insurmountable.. mountain. Torture for a fat kid. But anyway. Some of the local schools had their running path along the playground. Not onto the grounds, but along the horse fences. I heard several kids shouting out to Shadow. Seems he’s the favourite of the horses. He IS a good looking horse. Got some surprised calls from kids who spotted the goats out on the loose too.
And we had some visitors on the grounds too. Milo got a couple of fatalities in . K.O.. Oh dear. There was one really sweet you mother with a couple of girls who seemed to have been warned. “It’s the one with the number 18 we have to watcch out for, right?”. Yup. Haha. What a stinker. Words getting around about him.

Today I managed to squeak out a witty response when the postal lady made a joke as she handed me the package I was picking up. It must be nice to be able to talk to people without feeling deep agony and constant self doubt. I wonder what that’s like.
I like the postal lady. The younger one. The older one I haven’t seen in a very long time, she may have retired. The younger one if very sweet and kind and helpful. Doesn’t ask to see my ID because she knows me. She’s pretty too. I’d ask her out, but she’s probably married and also there’s the thing about not beina able to talk to women. Makes for an awkward date, probably.
But we’ll always have the mail.

Had some great dreams last night. I achieved lucidity, which is always wonderful. If you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Especially for someone as myself, whose normal life is a big, dark blur and full of anxiety. Dreams are crystal clear, bright and vidid and you can do anything without fear. It’s wonderful. I know it’s a little harsh, but honestly, I wouldn’t mind if I fell into a coma and lived out the rest of my life in a hospital bed, lucidly dreaming. That would be fine by me.
I dreamt about a big plush teddy bear we had when I was a kid. It was huge in fact. Probably bigger than a 10 year old kid. I wonder if my parents still have it. I haven’t thought about it in years, maybe decades. No idea why it popped into my dreams tonight.
I also dreamt that I saw a painting of god. Only when I looked closer at it I saw that god was a scary cat with eerily glowing eyes. Standing on two legs wearing a yellow rain coat, under a waterfall. So, if you’ve ever wondered what the nature of god is… you’re welcome.
In the dream I felt it was so important to remember that part that I actually wrote it down. Are you supposed to be able to write in dreams? I know you’re not supposed to be able to read, although sometimes I manage that anyway. I just remember scrawling down the letters. P A I N T I N G.
There was also a part with tons of comic books. And I could read the titles of them. I think the more you dream and cultivate it, the stronger you get in the dream force. Anyway, there was lots of other stuff, but I’ll let you off the hook now.
