Heats
Well I did it. I logged into Facebox on my smartphone. It took me literally 10-15 minutes to enter my password. Mainly because i could not find the full stop. The period. The forking joys of being blind. Operating a smartphone with a magnifying glass and fat fingers. Fork it.
I got access to posting on Mia’s page back. BUT. They said somethinga bout my information being in review and that it could take up to 2 weeks. I can post while they’re reviewing it. The question is, are they expecting me to use the fb app on my phone for those two weeks? Because that’s not going to happen. Literally not possible, no chance. If that’s what’s going to happen then the page will be ending. But I guess we’ll see. Maybe they logged my location during those minutes and that’ll be enough.
I am not feeling optimistic though. i have a feeling Mia’s page may be ending. They want to keep tabs on my location and I just can’t use that phone.
But we’ll see. We’ll see. We’ll see. At least I managed these steps. Managed to get my sim card from the other phone into the smartphone. Managed to connect to a network, Managed to launch the app. Managed to log in. Managed to find the settings. Managed to start the process.
Sigh. We’ll see. I hate this dystopian present we live in.
Let’s just hope I don’t lose my personal account for logging in multiple places and networks and whatnot. That’d be a kicker.
It’s 4 pm, I’m going to bed soon.

Oh yeah, and congratulaziones to Italy for winning the European Championship in ballsport. You might recall early on I said my money was on Belgium or Italy. Guess I should have put some real money on that.
Italy was the best team of the tournament, and given Denmark’s somewhat problematic experience with England in the semis, I can’t say I’m sad they lost the final. Denmark has still won more european championships than England, which is pretty crazy when you think about it!
Still, I do love England. Growing up, England and America is where a lot of my mind and heart was, that’s the pop culture that shaped me. The pythons, rik & ade, the premier league, star wars books imported from britain and so on and so on.
Too bad you brexited, which is going to cost me 50% more on the new shoes I ordered because I didn’t realise the seller on german amazon was from the uk and we no longer have free trade with you grumph.
Anyway, up yer balls.

Good goat times today. A hot one. Upwards of 26C/79F. And a humid heat at that, a little much for my liking. But I’m still glad it’s summer.
A good day to sit around and do nothing. So of course I got up and did some weed whacking. Oh dear. Trying to get those stinging nettles out. Little by little.
Oh and I met and old friend today. I don’t know if any of you remember him from the old playground. I think I used to call him, affectionately, Crazy Chicken Guy. He wasn’t around too often, so he may not ring a bell to you all. But he’s a nice guy. He used to come around to the old playground and he’d walk around with the chickens and he’d go ‘bok bok bok’ with them and I’m pretty sure he bought eggs. Haven’t seen him since we mofved away from the old playground. Well today he suddenly came pulling a bike past the fence of the goat pen. Haha. He called out to me. “Do you remember me?!”. I did! Long time no see. That was unexpected! Je asked if we have chickens here at the new place. I told him he’d have to go ask. I know we’ve had them, but I haven’t heard or seen any of the feathery fowls for a long time. I’m not sure if they’re staying in a new place after some of the construction and changes that’s been done. Or if we just don’t have any anymore. Anyway, good to see him again!

This is the After picture. Unfortunately I had so much dust on my lens that the Before pictures was too blurry to post. But the Before picture was Sassy, Lily and Nuller sitting in the shelter. The After picture is Mia sitting in her spot after she pushed Lily and Nuller out of it. Still no doubt who is in charge here.
At least she let Sassy stay in the shelter with he.

This was supposed to be a video of the goats looking and bleating after me as I fetched fresh water. Lily had other ideas, so I ended up with five minutes of footage of the wall. Still love Milo’s loud bleats. He’s always the loudest when I go.

Good goat times today. Another hot one. Upwards of 30/86 again. Phew. Days like this I almost regret always wearing heavy cargo pants all the time…
It’s a little too much for an out of shape polar boy like myself. Thankfully there’s that really good spot in the goat pen, sitting up against the wall and the barrier in the shelter. Perfectly in shade and with a little breeze. Every now and then I had to retreat to there to cool down. Managed to finish off a half litre of iced Pepsi Max and I even stole a bit of one of the apples I brought for the goats. Hadn’t had breakfast so I needed a little bit. Mia was looking at me like “What… the .. actual…F#%#¤&”. They don’t usually see me eating their stuff! She forgave me though since I brought enough for the whole class.
Got a little visit from Heino the barn kitty too. Suddenly jumping up on roof of the goat shelter. I was sitting on the bench. Heino meowed at me and I meowed back. He jumped off the shelter and started coming towards me while meowing. Until Mia stapped between us like “Nuh uh, this here is goat territory, son”. I did manage to get up give him a few cuddles, he seemed friendlier today than usual. Sweet kitty.
Now I’ve had a nice cold shower and maybe I’ll have some koldskål for dinner, as is tradition when it’s hot in Denmark.

It’s so hot. I don’t know how you Americans do this stuff.
I ordered pizza to medicate my feelings, but it’s almost too hot. Do people who live in hot areas actually eat warm food? In Denmark we only eat koldskål when it gets hot. If we lived in America we’d never eat hot meals.
Maybe we should rethink this whole global warming thing.
