Good goat times today. Boy I needed that. So good to be back with the gang. And for an absolutely lovely day. Sunshine and up to 18C/64F. That’s straight up summerly for Denmark. So good.
Lots of lounging around in the sun with the goats. I did do some manual labour too. Sitting up on the mountain i stuck my hand in some stinging nettles. Ouch. So I went over to Jeanette and asked if they had some gardening gloves i could use. Went and pulled up some weeds on the mountain. There weren’t too many nettles, but I tried getting them all. Just to avoid constantly dealing with them. We’ll see if i managed to clear them out, they seem to spread so easily.
We also had several groups of visitors. Little kids petting the goats. Everyone seemed to have a good time. i heard one of the adults says to another “this is so great”. Always nice when we can give kids a nice experience with the goats.
A lovely time to cleanse the mind. Time to grab something to eat. I’m having noodles with potatoes today instead of my usual soup. Haven’t had noodles in 4-5 months I think. Looking forward to having some of those again, with coconut oil and ketchup. shut up, i’m a grownup I can eat as childish as i like!

A little yard work today. No audio. Having some intermittent microphone problems, which I really need to solve.
Probably oughta buy new smaller shirts. But I prefer oversized shirts still, even if they don’t look flattering when bending over. Which is a problem when you do as much bending over as I do in my life. What what I say

Guess what i did today?
I got pie! Oh my oh my.
Unfortunately, not cherry pie. i think I mentioned I found cherry pie on the delivery site i use? Turns out I had language wires crossed in my brain. i translated it wrong in my head. Turns out it was raspberry pie. So no luck there.
And no luck in general, i still have not found cherry pie for delivery. But i did find a place that delivers blueberry pie, and i thought i’d give that a try. And I did today. And it’s goshdarned yummy. Although i can really tell that i can’t eat as much anymore. Just like i can’t finish a giant pot of soup like i used to. Eating just a slice of pie was enough to make me feel kind of full and nauseated. There was a time n my life when i could eat a whole cake, one made for a family to enjoy. I could just inhale it and want more. I can’t do that anymore. But i’ll get through that pie, you mark my words.
I still hope to find cherry pie at some point. The Twin Peaksian in me just needs to try it. Please sir may I have a slice.

I spent some time today doing one of my lesser favourite things.
Updating Windows.
i actually hadn’t update my Windows in years. Which is a really bad thing to do. But, I was so tired of Windows messing with my settings and accessibility every time i updated. So I just stopped. I was a little worried that updating the system after years of not doing it would blow something up. But it seems to have survived the update, and not messed with too much stuff. So hopefully that’ll all work okay. i’ll spare you a longer technical rant.
All that pc work and a disappointing soccerballsport game made it a pretty annoying and frustrating day and the depression is lurking and mostly I just wish I had more pie. New plan, eat pie every day. According to a very credible source in a high place, not eating pie causes brain worms and gets you put on a list because people with brain worms can’t even pay their taxes and blaaargbarf
the world is getting to me. But once i finish building this rocket, you’ll see. You’ll all see. My tailwind, as i fart into space.

Good goat times today. A gorgeous day. Sunny and above 20C/68F as it shined on. That’s legit summer for Denmark. And with May 1st being a holiday(ish) in Denmark, there were lots of visitors out enjoying the lovely day.
Several groups of kids in the pen, admiring and petting the goats. One little boy told his minder “I’m looking at its butt!”. You sure are, kid.
I did my best to answer questions here and there and keep the goats calm. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Heard one of their adults saying to another “I wish we could come here every day”. And another was talking to Jeanette about how great it is for the development of the kids to come here, they get so much more out of it than just seeing animals on screens. So that’s pretty great. I wish the government would put more funding into these kinds of playgrounds, instead of shutting stuff down.
And of course I enjoyed lounging around in the sun with the furs and the feathers. I got to meet a couple of new bunnies too, Jeanette too me down ot the bunny cage and introduced me to Charlie and Minnie. Still settling in, but they seem lovely and cuddly. The kids will enjoy those too.
The goats weren’t too happy that i went down to the rabbit place, though. They were hollering at me the whole time “Get your *** back to goat country!”.
The forecast says it will get colder again now, but hopefully there will be more days like this ahead. Great weather, great people, great animals. Good stsuff.
Now i’m going to go back to the soupture.

Got an hour fortyfive on the bike today. After a week off from exercising to rest the legs. Good to get back on the track, flapping to the sweaties. Frustration and depression has been growing recently, good to sweat some of it out.
Afterwards I did some apartment work. Blocked off another window. I had to move my bed and other stuff around, took a couple of hours. But glad i got it done. The sun has been bothering me more and more, so I wanted to block the last part out. it’s a balancing act, I don’t want to cast my apartment into utter darkness, but I can’t have the sun in my eyes. I’ll see how this new setup works for me.
Did i mention I got rid of my old XP computer? Got done with the hard drives and it was time to drag it down to the electronics offloading place. Weird to toss out something that you spent so many years on, but then it hasn’t been really used in more than a decade so also nice to get rid of it. A major clutter discarded, in my efforts to rid myself of all the old junk.
i’ll be keeping the other two old computers for now, since they can run Windows 10 and 11. They are ancient and worthless, you couldn’t even sell them in this day and age. But in an emergency they will work.
And now, it’s a soupmergency, I changed to the red light bulb and must commence soup procedure.

This was my jam when I was like 14-15. On cassette, because CDs were not a thing. A a genre that i have no great love for. But if you want to hear what Danish rap/dance from the 90s was like, well here it is.
it wasn’t too long after this that I started buying CDs, things like Blur and Oasis and Nirvana and Bush and REM and Radioead and of course The Smashing Pumpkins that came to dominate my younger years. Dance music not so much, rap music not at all. I still remember being pissed when MTV Europe started playing hiphop and rnb instead of pop and rock. No Diggity, specifically. So white. So very white boy.

Sky and Bella sitting, almost, together. I think Sky is a little more tolerant of Bella being near. If Luna comes near then she’ll run away more often. Which is funny since Bella is the biggest and strongest. But i think it might be because Luna is more out to prove herself, which means bigger chance of confrontation. She butts heads with Bella a whole to too. So Luna is more of a ‘danger’ to be near. A little fighter. Sky prefers not getting in fights.
