Redentials
Good goat times today. Overcast, but the sun did come out.
And so did Jeanette! Yay. Back from vacation. I am always relieved when she comes back from vacation. I don’t think the animals get quite the same level of care when she’s not there. We talked about that too. I wish we could hire one more person like her. The rest of the staff are people focusing on the kids and young people. Wish they had one more person focusing on the animals, for the days when Jeanette isn’t there.
But oh well, I’m just glad she’s back and now we can get things back to normal. We had a nice little chat about how things have gone, and it’s just good to have around.
We did have a couple of mishaps today. At one point I was sitting on the ground and Bella and Luna got in a headbutting match and Luna was escaping Bella and ran right into me headfirst. Horns first. Good thing I didn’t have my head any lower down, she just hit me in the arm. But pretty hard, it’s sore now.
And then later I had picked up Red Sonja to have a closer chitchat. She’s really focused on my hands now and coming in close all the time. Anyway I had picked her up, but then Bella was standing behind me up on the log. And she took a bite out of Sonja! Well, not as dramatic as that. Sonja was fine. But Bella was sort of almost spitting out feathers. She got a little chicken fuzz in her mouth. Sheesh. Had to tell her that this isn’t KFC, I don’t think we’re in Kentucky anymore Bella.
By the way did you know the KFC chain shut all thir stores down in Denmark becaus they were exposed doing really bad things hygiene wise. But that’s not important right now.
Lots of sitting around with all the girls. And we had visitors too, sweet kids in the pen, petting the goats and running around and having fun.
A lovely late summer’s day in the goatland.
And now I’m going to go see a man about some soup. Myself, specifically.

Jeanette told me that she’d had a couple more days where she took care of Lily and Nuller at her neighbour’s place. They are still doing good. As was talked about, they have had their pen moved. If you remember when I went with Jeanette to visit them they had a little enclosure out by themselves. But they have been moved now so their pen is right by where the humans live. They have four (human) kids who bring friends, it sounds like Lily and Nuller get lots of attention. They are next to horses too and there are cats and chickens. So it sounds like they have a pretty good life there, which is just nice to hear.

Got an hour forty on the bike today. Feeling stronger today. Still not quite back to where I was a few weeks ago, but getting there. Feeling stronger overall.
I did make the mistake of getting a Pepsi & Protein delivery today and including some b&js. Just when i thought I was out, they ice cream me again. Well, it’s fine. I’m on an ok track, alternating between treating myself and denying myself, that’s not bad.
Still not getting notifications on facebook at all. And last night I couldn’t post at all. Also i’m having a problem with my housing organisation’s website, the place where I can see my heat and water consumption hasn’t worked for days, so I probably have to write them an email about that. I got 99 problems but an ice cream ain’t one.
Hope you’re all doing okay out there. I’m trying to keep up with people’s posts, but it just feels pointless being on a social media site when it doesn’t tell you that people are talking to you. I appreciate you all though. You are seen. Mostly. If we’re lucky.

Good goat times today.
I had a busy one. Had an appointment at the doctor’s office to get blood tests done. So I was off to that first thing in the morning. Thankfully the bus was pretty empty, no sardines-in-a-crushd-tin-can full bus.
And after that straight to the goat place. With vacation over, there were lots of visitors. Lots of old faces, some new. One of the adults that i have talked to a bit came in with a boy. He was a new kid and wanted to be introduced to the goats. So that was very sweet. He was really good with them, seemed calm and interested and helpful with them. That’s always nice. There were some rowdy ones today too, but nothing too bad. No Beren. I hope she will still be coming around this school year.
And a lovely day. Pretty got. Getting up aroudn 24C/75F which is a lot for Denmark. It was quite cloudy though, so it didn’t get really roasty, just nice and warm. The forecast says even hotter days ahead. Nice to get some hot days as the summer winds down.
And I didn’t get headbutted today and Bella only sneezed on my shirt, not my face. So that was good.
Now I’m going to get me some soup, even though it’s not really soup weather. But you know me. I gotsta have my soup *flashes winning smile and gives a thumbs up to the camera*

Fkn aggraviting. A streaming tv service that suddenly has captcha. Dark letters on dark background with graphics on top. No audio alternative, no accessibility help. I’m a paying costumer, I can’t log in.
I wrote to their customer service. Not expecting much help there, but hopefully they can at least cancel my account over email, because otherwise it’s going to be a whole big thing. fks sake.
It’s 2025 and you’re the biggest nation tv station and you don’t have accessibility alternatives or help on your platform. Sheesh.

I had myself some pizza today. Don’t judge me lest your name’s Judy and you’re on tv.
I was sitting and waiting for it and then the tracker status suddenly changed to “delivered” and I had a minor panic attack. Because I had no pizza. You can see the problem. Anytime i have no pizza it’s a problem.
Thankfully it was just some error, pizza arrived a minute later. And it was good.
Next week, back to healthy eating. Until the next pizza.
It’s a very hot day today. The sun is roasting on my windows. I smelled smoke earlier, for a second i thought there was something burning in my apartment. Then i realised that because it’s such a lovely day, someone is probably lighting up a campfire thing outside. Happens sometimes on hot days.
I got a reply back from the streaming channel’s customer service. Their reply was “I can see how that’s a problem for you. You can cancel your account on xxx or I can do it for you”. Okay then. The solution to your accessibility problem is to tell me not to be a customer anymore. The biggest tv channel in the country. Well done.
But I have gotten a couople of comment notifications about comments from Facebook today. Maybe the problem is solved? Won’t get my hopes up. But hey leave a comment here so I can see if i get notified.

Well, I was going to ask if anyone here might want to try to help me solve the captcha I was having problems with. But I tried logging in via Chrome browser and I got in without getting a captcha. So now I have cancelled my subscription to the streamer and sent a snarky reply to the email from their customer service dept.
Unfortunately that streamer has teh rights to some of the games of my favourite ballsports club, so I’ll probably have to take the kick in the balls and renew my sub before too long. And hope that I won’t get captchas on Chrome. Even though I hate that browser. I don’t even like Firefox anymore, but I have to use that for Facebook. Pale Moon Browser for the win!

It’s a hot Sunday, I wish I had some fudge.
Actually not really.
I’m a little worried about my tooth. It’s starting to hurt more I think. Not as bad as before the emergency dental trips. But more than nothing. Especially later in the day, after I have been eating. I guess disturbing the sore tooth make it hurt more. It’s not a constant excruciating pain like before, but it’s something. I would like to not hurt at all at any time of day.
There’s two and a half month’s till my dental appointment. I may have to see if I an go in earlier. Maybe I should have just had the tooth removed. Maybe I’m not flossing properly. Maybe there’s a little gnome who has hollowed out the tooth and built himself a cabin in there and the throws big parties with all his gnome friends and when they do their gay Irish jigs it causes me pain. Maybe I shouldn’t have smoked that burning bush.
Anyway. I hope your Sunday is good. i’m tired of dealing with things. I just want to be in a bubble. Don’t pop my bubble, you bubble popping gnomes.

Snorkelfarts.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be heading back to the dentist soon. I haven’t had anything to eat today (fasting sort of) but my tooth is hurting. And it’s gone beyond just the casual discomfort that has been there since the dental treatment. Now it’s actual pain. Not super bad, but enough that it feels like it’s spreading to the whole head. And that ain’t good. I’m going to painkiller myself through a couple of days and see, because I am Mr Avoidant, pleased to not meet you. But ya. I will probably have to write to the dentist and ask tell them what’s up and ask them if they can fit me in soon. Two and a half months of this probably wouldn’t be easy.
So now I can slide back into being in pain and worrying about dental visits and money. At least I know where the dental clinics are now and how to get to them, so that’s a little less of a concern. But ugh. i just want the world to leave me alone.
Lala la la. Better get something to eat.
