One Hundred Reasons To Stay Alive
Alritey. I narrowed the pictures for the playground exhibition down from 251 to an even hundred. I realize that they will most likely not be able to use even half that. But I don’t care. I can’t narrow it down any further. And it will be nice to have them all printed on proper photo paper anyway. So there. For all you lovely online people here is a treat:

The entire collection. The people at the playground will only get to see a limited amount at the exhibition but you get to see them all. What a wonder! All you have to do is wait for all the pictures to load. I suggest you go make a cup of tea. For you and the rest of your country.
And now there is only about an hour before I leave for Tivoli Friheden to see Tina. Weet.

Oh my! Oh, my! The pictures are wonderful. The interaction between goats and sheep, the kids and the goats, the bunny and sheep – is just great. The colors are all so vivid and the close-ups – I think I can count the individual hairs on the goats! (And my favorites are in there, too.)
I like how Mads sometimes watches things from afar. Taking things in, watching, we get his viewpoint. He wants to join in the fun and he sometimes does. The smiling baby lambs and their golden curly wool are just too cute.
Maybe you can put up 10-15 photos for a week or so, and then put up another 10-15 more the next week and so on. Sort of a rotating photo collection. The kids are going to be so excited to see themselves in the photos. Does the playground have a newsletter they send out? Might be nice to include news about the photo exhibit going on.
Wow, I just can’t get over how beautiful your photos really are. You have captured some wonderful moments at the playground. You should be very proud of your work, Lasse. I mean it.
Enjoy yourself at the concert. Remember “cool” is an attitude! (Example: I’m Lasse, and I’m a “cool” photographer.)

Every photo is wonderful. I hope they show all of them, it will be like an exhibition of famous photographs, like in a gallery. It’s nice seeing the black sheep again, the children and Mathilde framed against a blue sky. It’s such a great community, a microcosm of joy. The whole world should be this playground.

P.S. I can see dozens of pictures that could be on cuteoverload.com http://cuteoverload.com. You should send some to them. (Like the lamb sniffing the rabbit…aw!)

Deb – Aw thank you Deb. You are too sweet. Good idea about the pics. I’ll suggest that to them. They don’t send out newsletters no, my ego is much too small to advertise anyway hehe.
Mads is great at watching. Sometimes when a car or a motorcycle drives by on the road just past the trees at the playground, he’ll stare off towards it. And sometimes there is no noise at all (at least that I can hear) but he’ll still just be watching… something. It always makes me happy just to look at him, it’s very zen. The goats are at their ‘watchiest’ when dogs come around. They are scared of the dogs, but they also seem fascinated by them. Maybe it’s because they sense danger and they have to be very aware and make sure that the dogs don’t come near. But it’s still cute when all the goats go up to the fence and stare intensely at the dog and watch it until it’s completely gone and all is safe again.
Katherine – If the whole world was the playground then I’d be the happiest guy in the world. I’m happy just to be part of the microcosm though. Thank you! I have submitted a couple of pics to cuteoverload just a few days ago actually. The twin lambs. If they get accepted then I’ll probably send more. We’ll see.
I keep going back to the page to see the photos too hehe, I’m not sick of them yet. So much joy.
