I am sure you’re all dying to know how the concert went yesterday. But until that’s done, here are some new arrivals at the playground.
Ducklings! And ugly they ain’t.
Cute little things. I’m not sure how old they are exactly. But can’t be more than a couple of days at most.
On a more sour note, the sheeps have left. I’m going to miss those silly lambs. Sigh. If there is a downside to the playground then it must be when the animals leave. At least I know Mads won’t leave, he’s the property of the playground itself. The other animals are mostly Kurt’s, sometimes they come and go.
I met Jannie. She asked me if we could trade shifts again. So I’ll be working next weekend. And she asked if I could take her shift in week 32 too. I’m not sure when that week is exactly, but I said yes anyway. I like feeding the animals.
I also met Nina, the cat. Purring and rolling around and climbing on me.
Lovely. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go make some dinner and relax. It’s thankfully cool and there is no smoke in the house. Expect a Tina write-up later today or tomorrow. Keep your pants on Flanders, I’m writing as fast as I can.

What sweet ducklings! We saw a wild mother duck with about 7-8 babies waddling across the road one morning on our way to work.
Goat note: Pygmy goats don’t like hot air balloons (a little known fact). They were giving hot air balloon rides at the county fair last evening. We live about 2 miles from the fairgrounds and when I went out to feed the cats, I saw two balloons over the bean field. When they got closer to our barn and decided they needed to be up a little higher, they turned on their gas burners. “Whooosh”.
My husband said both goats snorted, jumped, and ran for the barn. John Boy was in the lead with Billy following. My husband said Billy stopped before he went into the barn, looked around at my husband as if to say: “Aren’t you coming, that scary thing eats goats!”
They both decided since the “Big Goat” didn’t get eaten or wasn’t scared, that it was okay to come out of the barn again. Silly goats, they are aware of everything going on around them.
Sounds like you enjoyed your concert. Will be watching for your update.

Ducks! Arrrwww.
I often pretend I’m a duck. Which causes Noelleh to call me duckling.
I miss him.

Did your dad go to the concert with you after all? I am anxious to hear about it! Gald to know the playground has some new additions! And sweet little additions they are.

Deb – I love waddling! Watching it I mean, not doing it. It’s a good thing that your goats have a big goat to keep them safe from air balloons. I don’t trust the things either. If we were meant to fly we’d be born as little tiny aeroplanes.
Clare – Clare-bear the duckling. It has a certain ring to it.
Anna – Det var sørme venligt af dig. Hvad siger Allah om spam?
Debbie – My dad didn’t go, no. He did watch the video clips that I made from the concert though hehe.
