Sleep It Off
No Vanilje today at the playground. I was all excited too. Oh well. She will definitely be there tomorrow though. Kurt will bring her in. And that’s not all. He will bring the buck too. For Magnethe. I am really happy about that. That means Magnethe won’t be going away. Kurt noticed today that she was in heat. So tomorrow there will be twice as many goats! Amazing.
Magnethe and the buck will stay in Yvonne’s stable. Then Mads and Vanilje will stay together. Mads and the buck have to be kept seperated of course.
Tomorrow is my day off. I plan to go up there bright and early and have fun with all the new and old goats. Exciting.
So Magnethe is in heat. I wonder if that’s why she has been trying to pick fights with everyone. Heh, love is a complicated thing.
Meanwhile, spring is still springing.
The flowers are blooming and the goats are in heat. And Mads, well Mads is tired in the sunshine.
I love tired Mads.
Funny, yesterday we had to struggle to get him down on his side. Today he rolls over all by himself. And he did it while I was sitting next to him, so it’s nice that he wasn’t afraid of doing it with me around.
I love when he lies down like that. It looks very funny.
A little later we were sitting there. Mads still sleepy. He even yawned. I think a goat yawn is possibly the funniest thing in the world. I wish they did it more often. So I would have a chance of catching it with my camera.
Tired, tired Mads.
Magnethe wasn’t tired. She’s cute though. I almost don’t like the idea of some buck getting frisky with her. Keep yer hands off my little girl. But then of course the thought of new baby kids is a good one.
That’s all for today. Expect pictures of Vanilje tomorrow. Isn’t it exciting? I wonder how big she’s gotten. And I wonder if she will even remember me. It’s not like she’s been completely isolated out at Kurt’s place, but still. She’ll probably have to get used to the playground again. Good thing she has a crazy goat boy who will sit for hours and hang out with her.
