Pigs In Space

Allow me to introduce my two new friends.

piglets

It was quite lovely to see them come in and look around their new living space. And amazing how little space they use up, compared to old Yvonne.

More pictures and stories to come.

  1. Stu Says:

    Oink!

  2. Debster Says:

Yay, spotted pigs. Spot and Dot, or Spotty and Dotty, Charlotte and Arnold, Babe and Babe-ette, what other famous pig names are out there? Are they a rare endangered Danish pig species?

Don’t let Stu get too near them, he thinks about sausages quite a lot!

  3. Debster Says:

    Dear danish goat boy,
My husband says “Debster” (in English) translates to mean “Bossy Lady”. He thinks it would translate in Danish to mean the same thing. He says I come from a long line of bossy ladies (my Mom and sister). I’m not bossy, wonder what got him riled up!

My friends call me “Bwana” or “Exalted Ruler of the Universe!

  4. Plume Says:

    Stu – Oink oink!

Debster – Famous pig names? That should be a book title. I’m not sure if they are a very rare or endangered species, but they are a cute species at least. And spotty. I will make sure that Stu doesn’t barbecue them when he comes to visit!
Hmm. Are you related to my mother by any chance? I think she’s a bossy lady too! nah, not really. And if you were related to my mother you would probably be related to me too. Chances are.
I think the goats are rubbing off on you, the whole grand ego thing!

  5. Debster Says:

That’s it, I was an “Exalted Ruler Goat” in my first life! Goats rule!

  6. Luis Lemmings Says:

The little piggies look wonderful! In time, they’ll follow you around just like Mads and the others. That would be great!

(To Miser Von Hepburn: 34jktifjke98##$. I’ll be at the consulate on Wilshire Blvd. at noon.)

Have they given names to the little ones yet? Maybe they’ll let you name them.

I was going to meet some friends for an early dinner the other night, and I walked past a pet store and there were some tiny, little, fluffy poddle puppies. They looked so adorable! They were three and there each had a different colour: black, tan, and white. And they were all bunched together. The tan one was staring at me. Man, I feel in love with it already.

I have been thinking about getting a dog again. Everytime you go to the goats, I’m so envious. I have Moominlizard and the two turtles. But it’s not the same as having goats or a dog.

    Sigh…

  7. Debster Says:

Poodle puppies! Bark, bark, bark! Luis Lemmings, I’d thought you’d talked yourself out of ever having a pup again, now you’re thinking about getting one. What’s changed? You sure sound lots happier about things in general.

You and Plume both are doing so well. I’m the only one not doing anything different or exciting. *Must teach goats new trick*. I guess I should be grateful nothing wrong is going on in my life, but I want to go on a field trip, get a new pig, or a puppy!

I did meet a new Maltese puppy named Riley this week. We are painting some bathrooms and bedroom for Riley’s owners. One bathroom is green, so if we paint their pup, he can be “O’Riley” an Irish Maltese!

  8. Plume Says:

Luis Lemmings – If they follow me around they might get in a fight with the goats! Heh, it’s funny sometimes when I’m walking around and I have three goats following me almost on a perfect line. It’s like a tail, made of goats.
I don’t think the pigs are named yet. Not as far as I know. Maybe we can call them Audrey and Hepburn.
It would surely be great for you to have a dog again, if you’re ready for it. There’s nothing quite like being greeted by a fluffy animal. It always makes me smile big when the goats spot me and start baahing for me to come over. I imagine it’s much the same to come home and be greeted by a barking dog.

Debster – You should plan a field trip then! Do you have any fields nearby? Haha. Or some mountains to climb maybe. As long as you don’t fall down. Maybe your goats would like a trip to the mountains. Maybe they are royal russian mountain goats. There’s only one way to find out. Off to Russia!

  9. Debster Says:

Yep, we’ve got all kinds of fields around. Not too many mountains in Iowa that I’m aware of. I’m a “flat-lander” anyway. I don’t do too well in high altitudes, I get short of breath and I get a headache. May have to send the goats to Russia on a mission by themselves!

  10. Plume Says:

Debster – You’d like Denmark then. We’re a flatland. No mountains. Ehm, but that doesn’t mean I’m exaggerating when I’m talking about mountaineering. No no. Anyway, gotta go!
