Shadow Of Chernobyl

Happy birthday to my father. He came home late last night, as I said. And today we celebrated his 63th birthday. Which is bloody old, when you think about it. No offense to any of you old people who might be reading. One day I will be bloody old too. But right now I am enjoying my carefree youth and child-like demeanor. I am certainly not old, and certainly not in denial. No I am not. I vehemently deny that I am in denial.

Meanwhile I have been playing a lot of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. It is funny, I am the most non violent person you will find. Really, that whole thing about turning the other cheek? I literally do that, not just in spirit. I wouldn’t get in a fight even if someone hit me. If someone wanted to invade Denmark I’d probably hand them our keys (you know, the keys to the gate in the giant wall around our country) and let them take us. A combination of friendliness, non-confrontationalism and pacifism to the extreme. And yet sometimes it soothes my nerves to play violent computer games. Don’t ask me why. But I would rather be violent in computer games and peaceful in the real world than vice versa. Maybe if more people got their aggressions out in video games they’d have less need to fight wars and stuff. Did I just solve all our war problems there?! I think so. I just need to get this idea out and then we’ll have peace in our time.

My dad’s brother is coming tomorrow. To stay a few days. That’ll be okay. All this talk and chatter is tiring my head though. Sometimes I need a little quiet. A volume button for the world would be nice.
