Så Ka’ De Lære Det
I have been sick today. Diarrhea. Maybe from all the excitement and nervousness? Or maybe it was something I ate. Probably shouldn’t have had that purple mushroom after all. I will survive, though. No worries.
And still very excited about the appartment. I wish I could just move in right now. I’ll get a little taster in a couple of days, though. On Friday my parents are off on vacation. They’re going to Sweden. On a cruise. Not a sort of American-TV style cruise. But sailing around the canals of Stockholm. Or something like that. They’ll be gone for a week, so I’ll have the house to myself. That will be nice. And when they come back then there will only be a couple of weeks till I move out.
I’ve been looking at ISPs. I think I will change from Cybercity to StofaNet. Not that any of you know what those are! I was thinking of getting a slower and cheaper connection, but after checking the possibilities I think I’ll go for a faster one than I have now. 20mbit. I don’t need it that fast. But in order to save any significant amount of money I’d have to drop to a speed that would be too slow for my likes. So 20/1 mbit. That’ll be schweet. Instead I’ll save a little money on the cable TV. I don’t watch much TV any more so I’ll just get the cheap basic package. No more fancy foreign channels for me. But that’s okay, I’ll forget about that when I’m surfing with 200000000000mb/sec. Or thereabouts.
I hope I will be able to arrange it so that I can have internet fairly quickly in the new place. Although it probably depends on whether there’s a dsl plug already there. If not then I could face some time without internet. Ye horrors. I’ll make sure to come back here and update the blog, though. So you know how it’s going. I’m counting on y’all for moral support. It’s one small step for mankind but one GIANT FRIGGING LEAP for Plume.
Yup yup. Much to do and ponder and must not forget to jump up and down on my bed, at least until I procure some sort of trampoline.
Happy 4th of July to all my ‘merican chums. Don’t forget to drink a lot and wear safety goggles. Not necessarily in that order.
