Bring The Light
Phew. I am still not done with the animal show pictures. After deleting the worst ones and the superfluous ones I was left with 105 shots. Have to resize and touch them up. Then I’ll bung ’em on a CD along with the video files and bring them to the playground. I hope they will be happy with them. And of course I’ll post some of the best here in the blog. I think there are some real sweet shots of the kids. Everyone was enjoying the show.
Right now I am enjoying being home alone. A sweet taste of things to come. Soon this will be everyday life. I am looking greatly forward to it.
Must remember to call the guy who is temporarily living in my appartment and ask if there is a dsl plug in the wall. Hopefully there is, that would make things easier. Must also call the housing organization and ask if they’re going to send me a bill for the downpayment and stuff or if I just have to go to the bank and transfer the money on my own. I still haven’t got the lease contract, I would have thought they would send that out right away. But I might just be HORRIBLY IMPATIENT. Today is 070707. Counting days till 070801.
Went up to see the animals today. Not my turn to feed them, but I was still lucky enough to have Nina come by. I picked her up and sat there holding her, imagining having a kittycat of my own. I’ve been waiting patient. Patiently.
Mads was in a cuddly mood. The entire time I was in the goat pen he was rubbing his head against my leg. Every now and the making little moaning sounds. He can be very sweet. When he’s not being diabolical, of course. A wolf in goat’s clothing.
The lambs had visitors. A little bunny. I don’t think it’s big enough to be able to jump the walls on its own. The only bunny I have seen do that is sel/Donkey. So someone must have put the bunny in there. A little later on one of the chickens were in there, it jumped in there on its own. It was like a whole little party in the lambs’ place.
I have been dreaming about busses again. Always with the busses. But at least no clowns.
I want to populate my appartment with garden gnomes. And figures like that. At christmas time there were a couple of garden gnome sized figures in Favorit. One was a snowman. And one was a sort of Mrs Santa. I wanted to buy them. Now I wish I had. I must have tacky stuff for my home!
Favorit is closing by the way. Well, it’s not even called Favorit anymore. It’s Aktiv Super. But it’s closing yes. How odd. I have done most of my shopping in that store all my life. The last 25 years or something. Another store will be opening in its place, a Netto. But it’s still odd. There’s a woman who has worked there for as long as I can remember, I heard her say that she won’t be working in the new store. Most of the staff is going away. And it’s oddly coinciding with me moving away from the area.
Not that I will be moving too far away. Want to see where I’m moving? It’s a route from where I live now to where I will be living. The route they suggest is actually completely stupid. Look at that giant detour. But you can see the two places. The black dot in the top rightish corner is where I am now. The red dot is where I will be moving in. And for reference, the playground is just out of the picture on the right. Out of the road called Ryhavevej.
Wait a minute. . That’s the route from the playground, which is now the black dot in the top right corner. Via My current home and then to my future home, still the red dot in the left bottom corner.
Fascinating, don’t you think? So now there’s no reason for you not to stalk me. Well, apart from the pack of goats that protect me, of course. Follow me at your own risk.
PS. Want to see the playground from up high? Goto this map and then click on “luftfoto”. Then click on the red dot to zoom in. That’s as close as you can get. But it’s the playground, it is. You can see the field to the right of the red dot, that’s where the animal show was held. The red dot itself is right on top of the main building. And if you go to the left a bit and down then there’s a whitish building, that’s where the goats live. Iiinteresting!

I love that trashy, tacky stuff, too. It does make your home yours and no one else’s.
As for the staking thing, I’m sure Mads and the others will leap from the trees, blindfold me, and ship me back to the States.
Oh, can you ask them if they could drop me off in Paris for a few days?

Luis Lemmings – It is an exciting prospect, to make a place your owns. I have lived in other people’s houses all my life. Finally I can decorate without taste, without fear of retribution!
The goats are like a gang of ninjas, you never know from where they will strike.
I’ll see what I can arrange about Paris. Will Døllefjelle Musse do in a pinch?

Was that “Paris Hilton” that Luis Lemmings is asking about?

Debster – You’re a nut, debster! I know Mads would love you.

Debster – All the Plumes do too!
