A Nut By Any Other Name
My head is hurting. And I’ve been feeling tired all day. Maybe I’m coming down with something? Or maybe not. I bet it’s one of those two possibilities though!
So the stuff I wanted to tell can wait for tomorrow. Apart from one thing. When I got to the playground today Magnethe was very upset with me. The first thing she said was “How come Mads gets a tribute video when all I got – mmm nice carrots *glmph glmph* – when all I got was a collage? Don’t you love me too? It’s not my fault I didn’t win a prize in the animal show, they wouldn’t let me participate! I’m pretty sure I heard Kurt say that if they let me in the show then all the other animals wouldn’t stand a chance because I’m so wonderful! I’m just as good as Mads and I deserve just as much”… and she went on and on! So I finally had to promise to make her a tribute video too, just to shut her up.
Done and done. And then some.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=IBzec57Kil0. The same basic deal as the Mads tribute. Lots of picture set to some Smashing Pumpkins video. Forsooth, it verily warms my heart to see her grow. From one day old. To proud mother. It’s so sweet.
I also uploaded both videos to my own webspace. In case you want to see the real good version. As I call them. Youtube is fine for a quick view, but if you download the full versions then you can appreciate the photos at their (almost) original size. Which is a lot nicer. So here:

Tribute to Mads
Of course you have to be pretty crazy to want to watch 4-5 minutes of goat photos in the first place. I have to keep reminding myself that not everyone is a nut like me. Some are cashews some are walnuts. Some are begonias and some are pineapples. You really can’t label people. Unless you have one of those label makers. Then I guess you could.
No, I think I have to go to bed now.

Label me a pistachio nut. I watched the Magnethe video! She has such a totally different personality than Mads. I don’t think her feet touched the ground the first few months of her life – there was always someone holding her.
Magnethe in a bucket, Magnethe and her kids, and snow, and she’s sticking her tongue out at us in the end. It’s interesting to see how long her horns have grown over time. Another beautiful tribute, Plumey.
Clare: I’m multilingual. I speak cat, dog, goat, and bird with a tiny bit of horse. I minored in chicken and guinea pig, but lizard is “Greek” to me.
Clare & Plume: Don’t laugh, but right before the tv show “MI 5” came on there was a little announcement to check your tv remote for closed captioning as they said even some of the Brits have trouble with British accents! Alas, we don’t have closed captioning, so I guessed at some of the story line again. Why don’t they have goats on? I could figured that out right away.

Clare – Of course I do! I wonder if cats and goats talk.. hmm..
Debster – Hehe. It must be nice to be carried around everywhere you go. I wonder if goats think of humans as “public transport”. At least goat kids. Everyone loves to pick up a goat kid. I am glad you liked the video! They make me happy. I can reveal that there is another tribute video coming up. Tomorrow most likely. Can you stand the suspense?!
I remember a Monty Python sketch with various animal variations of tv shows.. the news for wombats.. the news for parrots. I don’t think there was a news for goats, There should be.
“No wombats were involved in a collision on the M-4 motorway…”
Stu – Let me just get my paintbrush and I’ll.. oh darn, I’m all out of crazy. I used the last drops on myself :)
