This Star Thing
I am tired. Sleep soon.
Today I got the bank stuff done. No worries. And I got myself a mini oven. So now I can bake, in theory. I also boiled eggs for the first time ever in the new appartment. That’s one of the nice things about moving out, suddenly lots of things are “for the first time”. Things you’ve done a million times before, but never in your own appartment.
Speaking of my own appartment, video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=U1BTyicfYx0. Two combined, from yesterday. First one is halfway through putting up the drapes. The rain outside. Unfortunately the rain doesn’t show up too well on the vid, so you can’t appreciate quite how nice it was. But it’s something. Second part of the video is with the drapes all up. Nice and dark. They aren’t fancy drapes really, I just wanted something fairly neutral that would keep out the sunshine and the peekers. I’m happy with them. And just for the benifit of Debster, there is a peek into the bathroom as well. If you watch carefully you might spot the goofball in the mirror… the music is a clip of my favourite song of the moment, Satellites. Some old Smashing Pumpkins demos were leaked recently. Satellites being one of them. It’s from the Adore era. Adore being my favourite album of all time. I am a sucker for Adore demos. Although Billy’s voice is an acquired taste, I realize. Anyway. Hope you enjoy the show. Pardon the mess. I had to take all the boxes down from the windows and I still haven’t figured out how to get into my storage room in the basement, so it’s all a bit messy at the moment. But now at least no one can see the mess through the windows!
Now me sleep yes.

Hooray, there really is a bathroom in Plume’s apartment! I’m so relieved. (There’s a pun in there somewhere.) The drapes are nice. They look like they’ll let in some light, but keep the peekers out. I’m glad you didn’t go for the plaid/striped drapes in a multitude of colors. It would remind me too much of CLOWNS and it would scare Stu, too.
Well, I won’t tell anyone that your apartment is messy. I don’t particularly like to run the vacuum and I told my husband that I’ve named the “dust bunnies” under the furniture! Dust bunnies are my friends!
Did the goofball come with the apartment or was he extra? You always talk toooooo much in these videos, Plumey.

I AM SO JEALOUS!!! :)))
and what a neat bathroom you have there, Mr Camera Man! great choice of song.
Oh Debster, I couldn’t agree with you more! I wouldn’t dare interfere with the life of the little “dust bunny” community that lives under my bed and chest-of-drawers. I like the idea of giving them names, so if you don’t mind, I’m borrowing it from you.
Hugs!

Milla: My dust bunnies say “hi” to your dust bunnies! Plume probably doesn’t have any of his own dust bunnies yet, should we send him some?

Debster – I told you there was one! I specifically asked the drape master for something “neutral”. At first he tried to sell me the national flag of Switzerland, but I’d have none of that!
How long does it take for dust bunnies to grow? I want dust bunnies! I know that regular bunnies breed like rabbits (teehee) but I don’t know anything about the reproductive cycle of the dust ones. Maybe I’ll put out some carrots just to make sure they are happy.
Milla – Everyone is jealous of my fabo appartment :-P Alls I need is a little dust bunny community and then I’m set. I will be the life of the party!

“National flag of Switzerland” – hee, hee that’s funny! Now you’ve offended all your Swiss readers by not having their flag at your windows.

Debster – How about all the other nations that I have snubbed? I think I’ll have to have some new drapes sown, with all the world’s flags!
