Might As Well Face It
Hmmm.
Look, they were on sale, okay? I’m not going to drink them all at once! I told you, I have LOST weight. I AM NOT UNHEALTHY. Much.
No, I must admit that I have come nowhere in regards to the soda addiction. I am still drinking too much of that junk. But what can you do? It’s not like I’m killing baby otters in my sparetime. I am not a crook.

Baby otters! I should hope you’re not harming them.
*Might as well face it, you’re addicted to LOVE.* (Not cola, my dear danish goat boy.) Do you have bottled water in Denmark? Try drinking a glass of ice water, then a glass of cola to cut back.

Don’t forget to brush your teeth. Sodas really do a number on teeth.
Also, they wreck havoc on kidneys. :(
But, hey, I guess sodas are better than drugs or alcohol or even killing baby otters.
We have California otters out here and for as long as I could remember, we had to watch films in school about them.
There was a girl once in 4th grade who claimed that her cousin had a pet one and we all wanted to see it. But she said that her cousin lived up in Northern California and couldn’t bring it down here to San Diego.
Of course, we didn’t believe her. But it would have been nice to see one up close. I think the San Diego zoo has them but I’m not sure.
The last time I was there one of the camels spit on this old lady. Man, that was so gross. I nearly tossed my cookies.

When we were at the San Diego Zoo years ago, we saw a male rhino going to the bathroom. The only trouble was, he liked to spray tourists when he went. You know the force of water coming out of a fire hose? Image being hit with that! Great crowd control.

Eeeewwwww!!
Crowd control?? More like people screaming in horror and using children as human shields.
Man, I’d pay good money to see that.

Debster – What is this thing called, love? We do have bottled water. Although I prefer to bottle it myself. Ice water is very nice. I drink entirely too much of everything.
LuisLemmings – Don’t worry, my dad was always very strict about the tootbrushing. So I shan’t be forgetting that.
You mustn’t toss cookies at camels. Or old ladies. Toss bread at ducks instead.
Debster – aaaah. I’m glad I had finished my lunch when I read that! It reminds me a little of what the buck has been doing.. although less powerful, thankfully.
Thanks for the kitty link.

I knew to watch out for what the monkeys throw at the visitors, but was surprised by the spraying rhino. He did get a lady the day we were there.
There were the double-decker tour buses going by and I heard their guide saying something about “Now we are approaching the rhino exhibit. He has an annoying behavior.” Then lots of laughter. So it must be common knowledge among the staff. Maybe they take bets to see how many tourists the rhino gets!

Debster – I can just imagine what would happen if the guides didn’t like one of the tourists… “hey, go take a closer look at that rhino, it’s about to do something really funny!”. Oh boy.
