I Try To Be Like Grace Kelly
Happy valentines to you all. It’s not a big tradition here in Denmark, and needless to say I’m not in the most valentiny mood. But I’m okay, and that’s good enough. A thank you to the Debster who sent me a lovely valentines card. It actually came a few days ago, but got lost in the maelstrom of feelings. But a lovely card with a lovely kitty smile. I must get me one of those…
Had dinner with the family today. Not a valentine’s dinner, the date was coincidence. A nice ham, though. With leftovers in my fridge.
Tomorrow I’m going to go see the goats. I haven’t been up there since Monday, when I found out about Rainbow. I hope they don’t think I have abandoned them. I just needed a little distance. But I miss them. And I want to hug Vanilje thight. She was doing fine on Monday. Seemed a bit quiet, but happy enough. I guess she doesn’t really understand. I hope not. I couldn’t look at her without crying. Thinking about how Rainbow should have grown up and the bond they should have had. I hope she doesn’t feel that pain. I will feel it for her.
Not to get pathetic or anything.
I will exit with a youtube from American Idol. Yes. Normally watching it makes me feel dirty and ashamed of myself because it’s so horrible and unclean. But Josiah performing Grace Kelly was awesome. Maybe it’s because he’s homeless and lives in his car, maybe that’s why there is actual feeling in the song instead of all the plastic dolls that try to hold every note for as long as possible until you go deaf and you can’t hear the difference. Or maybe it’s just that one line… “why don’t you like me?”. Hits home.
Also, piano always helps.

Glad you liked the Valentine card. My husband and I made cards on a new card making program for the computer we just got. Can you guess what photos were on both cards?
Yes, pictures of our three goatzy boys! I guess when you’re as crazy about goats as we are, they tend to show up everywhere. Even in Valentine cards.
Give Vanilje a big hug for me, too. Don’t hug Magnethe too hard, she might pop out a goat baby!
We don’t usually watch American Idol (it’s not wrestling, hunting, or wrestling hunting dogs), but that Josiah has a wonderful voice. Thanks for the video. And he’s so young and cute. He is a very out-of-the ordinary contestant.

Debster – I’m sure your goats are well pleased that they are now card-bearing goats. Or well, card-covergoats.
All the goats got big hugs today, and nothing popped out. Apart from some content baahs.
I liked Josiah a lot yes. Unfortunately he’s out of the competition now. Too god for it, I say.

He’s out of the competition?? He was wonderful. I hope someone in the music business was watching and offers him a job.

Debster – Yup, his second audition didn’t go too well. He didn’t click with the band provided. I hope good things for him, he was cool and interesting.
