The Oceanic Three
Return of the unwell. I woke up this morning with a big headache. And very tired. I have spent most of the day in bed. Oh well. It’s not like I had any plans.
Other things going on:
I cooked a ham yesterday. One of the biggest kitchen operations since I moved out on my own. And it worked out okay. A big ham, though. Too big for me. So now I have leftovers for a long time. But that’s okay. Sometimes I prefer leftovers to the actual, original meal. One of the reasons I wanted to cook a ham was so I could have the leftovers. So that all worked out swell.
Been spending time on my new DVD recorder toy. It’s been a little frustrating because it records in the DVD format. So I get VOB files. Which are huge. And I want to edit/compress them in VirtualDub. But the resulting .avi files have audio sync problems sometimes. And after a bunch of research and tests I have come to the conclusion that there’s apparently not so much I can do about it. Some files just refuse to be synced. But it’s not a huge problem and I will complain no further.
And from the playground? No news. No goat babies. Maybe they are refusing to come out because it has suddenly become so cold again? I don’t know. If not this week, then surely next!?
We can still enjoy the gruesome threesome though.
Mads, whose fur seems to be going almost white. Although the picture doesn’t really show it. But it’s the cold, I bet.
Magnethe, who is big as a house. Especially if sneaky Plume uses odd camera angles. Her neck looks so long there! Heh. Give up the babies, baby! We’re all waiting on ya.
And Vanilje refuses to learn the lesson of the wobbly bench. At least she is not scared of it.
She has learned that she can push open the hatch door if she bumps her head against it, though. Now she just has to learn that it doesn’t work when the hatch door is locked. It’s kind of a funny sight, seeing her bump her head against it with accompanying sound effects *bump* *bump*.
Other than that, nothing new. My headache is coming back and I’m feeling tired still. I’ll probably go to bed early. So I can get up early for Lost. That’s the stuff.

Here’s a youtube link to the Burger King: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNQBQyNzNsM And you can see other videos of him, too.
I think the King is really creepy in some of the commercials. I would think kids would be especially afraid of him. He has a really big head.
My goodness, Mads is going gray! Time to get the hair color out, Mads.

I agree! The creepiness of the Burger King guy is evident. That huge head of his would scare adults.
I hope you’re feeling better, Plume. Get lots of rest.

Debster – He IS kinda creepy! For some reason he reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Playing card soldiers? Anyway, good thing I don’t eat hamburgers!
LuisLemmings – Yes, that’s a very big head. He must have a big ego. Harr. I’m going to go rest some more now, thanks.
