Guess where I am updating from?

I am updating from in front of my BRAND NEW computer. Oyea oyea oyea.

Sweet. It all seems to be working, so far. Still have tons of files to transfer and programs to install and things to tidy. But so far so good. Did you know that it takes one million years to format a 500 gb hard drive? It does. Almost. And I have two of them. I have more hard drive space than Ghandi.

Ghandi had lots of hard drive space, didn’t he? I’m almost sure he did.

I almost missed the mailman this morning. I figured the computer would be delivered today or tomorrow. And I wanted to be home so I could get it. But I thought it would be okay to just run off to the supermarket as soon as it opened and do a little shopping. When I got back I saw a mail truck standing outside the building. Uh oh! I hurried up and as I stepped out of the elevator I saw the mailman standing in front of my door, writing one of those “sorry you weren’t here to receive your package, now you’ll have to go get it at the post office” slips. He looked at me and asked “do you live here?” and I replied affirmatively and he said “darn, you were lucky!”. So I got my computer. It’s not like it would have been a disaster if I’d had to wait till tomorrow and go pick it up myself. But much nicer like this.

And now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to play with my shiny new toy.
