Knock Knock
Tired and head-hurtey. So it has been all day. I am looking forward to going to bed soon.
I almost didn’t go to the playground because I felt so crappy this morning. Almost. But I managed to kick myself out of bed. And kick myself out of the door. And kick myself to the playground, via the bus. So therefore you will after all not escape some goat pictures.
Chokolade out of focus.
And here in focus. She’s a real master at getting her head through holes in a fence. You will already be aware of that if you have watched the feeding frenzy video.
Lakrids isn’t quite as good at it. She’s great at powerstruggling though. I’ll put my hand against her head and she’ll push and push and push. She’s almost too strong for me now. If I move my hand backwards then she’ll go forwards, naturally. She puts her whole body into it, so she’ll just stumble forward and she’ll be practically lying in my lap, and still pushing and pushing. It’s a lot of fun.
Thor is great at posing. And maybe it’s my imagination but I think he is learning not to use his horns so much. I only had to squirt him once today. And one time I lifted up the water bottle and he sort of flinched and stepped away from me. I think he has learnt to respect the awesome power of the water bottle.
Magnethe wanted to get in and Thor wanted to get out. Thor eventually won. Magnethe complained a little about that and then decided that she didn’t want to go inside after all. Silly goat.
Pretty and silly, pretty silly.
I’m glad I managed to go after all. There is nothing quite like the company of goats. Not for me anyway.
In other news, the kindergarten next door is open for business again. It’s been closed during the summer holiday. But now the sound of kids playing is back. I quite enjoy it. Which is funny because when I lived back home with my parents I was very intolerant of noise. It could ruin my evening if my parents had the TV going too loudly in the living room. Even with my brother’s room as a buffer. But things change.
Alritey, must retire to bed. My head is throbbing like an ant under a spyglass.

Don’t worry, Plume and Debster. I’m still here and reading ALL the entries and replies. A dear friend passed away recently so not much time to write replies. But I do read everything!
Also, remind me not to get you and Debster mad at me. I don’t want your water bottles to spritz my face when I reach for a second slice of hamburgar and onion pizza.
:)

LuisLemmings: sorry to hear about your friend. We were hoping you weren’t in the way of that last earthquake either.
Plume: well I wish Snickers was as quick to learn about the water bottle. She will be a dear, darling donkey one day and then her evil nipping twin will take over the next day.
Our goatzies have been mellow lately. They’ve been wanting lots of scratches and one-on-one time. John Boy enjoyed a rump scratch last night and even showed some bottom teeth (the highest form of contentment for a goat).

LuisLemmings – I am so sorry to hear that, Luis. I hope you’re getting through it okay. And don’t worry, you can keep all the onion pizza to yourself!
Debster – She’s quite a rebel, that Snickers. You never know where you have her. Maybe you should get her an arcade machince so she can play Donkey Kong: Although there aren’t actually any donkeys in that, if I remember correctly.
