I was just reminded of how when I was a kid we’d go to the video shop and not just rent a vhs, but a whole vcr. A ‘movie box’. You’d lug a whole vcr home from the Blockbuster-equivalent store.
And then that one time when we rented, I think it was Gone With The Wind, and we had to rewind it before taking it back, but we didn’t know that you had to STOP the tape before rewinding. So we were rewinding the tape with the picture moving onscreen. What’s that called? Searching? It took aaages and my dad was getting so upset because we were running out of time. Rewinding Gone With The Wind like that probably takes an hour! Haha. I don’t remember if we returned it on time. I think we may have incurred the late fee.
Kids today don’t know, man. They don’t know what it was like. In the beforetimes. They weren’t there, they don’t know. They just press a button and the netflix is on their phone.
It’s weird having lived through all these changes. When I was a kid ‘computer time’ at school was once every two weeks, 4-6 kids around each machine. Booting into some kind of text os. Now they all have their own computers. Must be weird to have to learn how to math when you can just go “siri what’s 15 divided by 11 times 40”. And another thing,

Good goat times today. A grey morning, but we got a bit of sun here and there. No goat escapes today. We did get some circus time. This time it was Mia and Milo butting heads. Of all the combinations of headbutters, I think that one is the rarest. Very rare to see them knocking heads. Mia got quite into it. Normaly she’s just overpowered compared to whomstever she butts heads with. But she got quite worked up and did the whole two steps back and then rear up for a powerful headbutt. And Milo took the blows pretty nonchalantly. Apparently he put his big-boy pants on today instead of being his usual scaredy-cat self. Haha. He also started humping on poor little Sky. So it was a bit of a circus, but not as long or intense as Sassy’s circus last week. But those goat sure keep me enterttained.

Good goat times today. A goorgeous sunny day, upwards of 24C/75F. Faantastic. Just walking along in my shirt, feeling the sun. Oh it’s so good. I’ve said it a couple of times before, but I’m pretty sure this will be the last day like this, this year. Certainly this temperature. This was kind of the perfect storm. Really hot, for Denmark, but not so hot and humid that it was uncomfortable. A light breeze, still greens on the trees. Perfett. And of course great goats. A good day to sit around and do not a lot. Brought pumpkin seeds and other assorted snacks. A bottle of half ice and half pepsi max for the goat herder. Sweet, sweet relaxing goat therapy for the heart and soul.
Mia got quite tired, took a few snoring naps resting her head on me. Grabbed some lapgoat times with Nuller and Sky. Not at the same time, obvs. The only downside today was when I rested my shoulder in a stinging nettle. I couldn’t bear to move it because Mia was resting on my arm. I can feel that now, but it’s not too bad.
Please everyone, do all you can to further global warming. I know it’s a short-sighted solution to a long-term problem, but I’m not planning on ever having kids so I’m willing to sell out the future of the world for my own temporary happiness. Let’s get this simmering world to a boil.

Ted Lasso made me laugh. Then cry.
Season 2 isn’t quite as outstanding amazing as season 1, but it’s still good. Latest episode packed some heavy emotional punches, that hit home in ways I’m not even prepared to admit to myself. I got defense mechanisms to rival Ted himself.
Also, I think Roy Kent is my favourite fictional character going right now. Forkn hilarious mate. I could take a spinoff with him and his little niece. Too forkn cute.
Anyway, it’s 3 pm and I’m going to bed soon because one of my defense mechnanisms is to run off into dreamland instead of facing the real world.

I had a bunch of great dreams last night. I dreamt I became the personal assistant of David Bowie. I dreamt I went to a couple of one-song concerts, one of them was Muse and the other I can’t remember. I dreamt I got a cat. It was super cute, but a bit fangy. Definitely inspired by Nala. I dreamt it started to show and I was a the old playground and I built a miniature Mount Doom out of snow and made a little tunnel through it and there was a micro Mia and she went through the tunnel. And that’s just the stuff I can remember right now. Tons of lovely stuff. I love dreaming.

Well hello there. Fancy meeting you here.
It appears.. I am back? I have not had any notification or communication regarding the status of my appeal, but since I can, presumably, post this… I guess I’m back? I hope it lasts!
I just want to thank everyone who noticed I was gone, and who cared. Those who came over to my twitter, those who relayed messages, those who had messages relayed. It meant a lot to me. I’m not going to lie, fb is my main social connection to actual humans, so being locked out was not easy. I am thankful that so many people cared and wanted me to come back! I love you all, I really do.
I’m still not sure exactly what happened. I got banned, with no explanation other than my profile not living up to the ‘community standards’. And it took me days to appeal because the captcha you’re supposed to fill out before appealing did not show up for me. On 4 different browsers. And at my parents place, Nothing. But then I tried the mobile version of facebook’s website, and then it showed up, finally. And I was able to appeal the decions. And apparently, my appeal was accepted. And I’m back. Hooves crossed.
And now I don’t have to split my ramblings into 420 words parts! Let’s hope this stick. Thank you all, and thank you to whoever reviewed my appeal. I’ll try to be a good boy. Please let me stay.

Oh boy, it’s good to be back! Now I’m scared to close the browser window though, what if I come back and I’m banned again! Haha. Well. I stayed up all last night, so I’m very tired now. I am going to go on a long dreamwalk. One of my patented 20ish hours of escaping from reality. Hopefully, hopefully, by the goat graces of fb, i’ll still be here when I’m back. I just want to get back in the swing of things. Back to some kind of normal.
Being cut off from facebook really made me feel isolated. I know I’m bad at socializing, but just having that feed of people, posts to read, reactions on my posts, it makes me feel like I am not alone in the world. Like there are people that care about me. And I value that greatly, even if I’m not good at showing it. I value you greatly. Thank you.
Also, value being able to make people happy with Mia’s page. I just checked it, and our post reach for the last 30 days is more than 5 million people. That is nuts. That’s the entire population of Denmark! The recent pumpkin seed feast video is closing in on 2 million views. It must be our most popular video ever. That original video of Mia climbing on my back to reach the leavs on the tree above, that was the one that really started making the page more popular. But the view counter broke on it, and I’m not sure how many people watched it.
When I got banned on here I was in the middle of loading comments on the pumpkinseed video. The comments were just flying in and I kept trying to load more and it was lagging and slowing down and then… I was out. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the ban or not. Maybe it was just random. The comment section on Mia’s page is usually full of people I know, names I recognise. You guys who are friends with my personal page, and people who are regulars on Mia’s page. But lately, and especially on that video, the flood gates just opened and tons of strangers have been coming in. Most of them with nice comments. But some also with strange and sometimes objectionable comments. A lot of people from other continents asking to buy the goats or asking to come and work for us. And obviously I say no to all that. The goats are not for sale and I have no work to offer. I read an article about fb clamping down on the sale of animals on fb, it’s not allowed. I wonder if any of that had anything to do with the ban.
But who knows. I havten’t been told exactly why I was banned, or why my appeal was (apparently) accepted. So I can only guess.
But at last now I can ramble on and on here again and you can all nod politely and think happily back on the 4 day vacation you got from me!
I kid, I kid. I love you all. Whether you read all my junk or skim through it or just click like and move on. I appreciate being allowed to be a part of this crazy thing called facebooklife.

Going through the Mia stuff I missed while I was gone. Thank you to everyone who sent messages/comments on the page looking for me. Since I was completely banned off the box I couldn’t see any of it, but Jen did let me know that people were messaging. And once again thank you to Jen, having to pick up the pieces every time I get in trouble on here!
It’s heartwarming seeing all the familiar faces being upset that I was gone and wanting to do something about it. You know I struggle a lot with self-worth and all that, it means a lot to see that there are people to whomst I matter. I may think of myself as a nobody, but I’m really happy to see others finding worth in me. Thank you!
Being cut off from the fb feed really made me feel the isolation deeply. Whatever you may say about fb, and there’s a lot, I am thankful for having that connection to good people. It makes a big difference to me. This may be the pizza talking, but I love you guys.
