Feed Me, Seymour
What is that you say? You want to see more of the lambs? Well, how could I possibly deny you that pleasure. Here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQnDmZinhiQ.
My favourite is the closeup lambface. And picking the lil girl up. You can hear mama Polka is a little uneasy about it, but lamby doesn’t mind.
Other than that there is not much new. I have been spending money. Bought my last christmas presents today. We won’t be having any visitors this year, so it will just be my brother and my parents and I. Should be a nice time still.
Yesterday I got a MasterCard. I have never had a credit card. And well, I still don’t. It’s a MasterCard Cash card. So I can’t overdraw. I can only spend the amount that is actually in the account. But now I can pay by card in stores. And buy stuff online. With my old bank card I had to go to the bank and withdraw cash when I needed it. And when I wanted to buy something online I had to borrow my parents’ credit card. Something my mother has been nagging me about for years. “Shouldn’t you be getting your own credit card” she’d say. And now I have one, more or less. I activated it via phone yesterday. And wanted to test it out. So I went to dvdoo and was planning to buy a cheap DVD just to see if it all worked like it was supposed to. I ended up ordering My Name Is Earl season 3 and Scrubs seasons 5 + 6. Oops. See, that’s why it’s not a good idea for me to have a credit card! Ah well, it’s not too bad. Circa 700 kroners. That’s also about the amount I spent on photo stuff recently. The postcards and a couple of trinkets and my Magnethe T-shirt. Plus postage to mail it out all over the world. But that was worth it, no dobut. The nice reactions have been… very nice. It really is lovely to give things to people you care about. Who would have guessed?!
And then of course I bought the exercise bike a couple of weeks ago. That was 1500 kroners. So it all adds up to an expensive December. But I’m still going to come out ahead. Why? Because my brother’s TV broke. And my parents are getting him a new one for christmas. That’s rather more expensive than the presents we normally give. So I’ll be getting some money out of that. My parents try to keep things fair when they give us something. Sometimes they’ll take Peter on a trip or a night on the town or whatever and then they’ll give me some money or something else. And I’m not too proud to take money from my parents. Cause I like money. And also I am lucky enough to not have much of a life going on, so I don’t spend a lot of money in general. My bank account is fat and should start exercising too. Oh yes.
Only a couple of days till Christmas now. We celebrate the 24th, Wednesday. It doesn’t look like it will be a white christmas this year. But other than that I’m sure it will be good. I hope you guys will all have jolly ones as well.
Ho ho ho!
