I Shall Not Walk
I ended up not going to the dinner tonight with my parents. For the reasons discussed yesterday. But other than that it has been a nice, quiet day. Nothing much to tell. So let’s take some pictures from yesterday’s animal feeding instead.
Battle for the buckets. The lambs are big enough to compete for real food now.
“What’s going on up there eh?!”
The boy on the right. Their faces getting longer.
There is Nina. When she is rolling around on the couch next to me she likes to stretch out her paws and scratch at my legs. It’s cute. Mainly because I’m wearing jeans! As long as it doesn’t hurt then I don’t mind being used as a scratching post.
And Vanilje. I dumped a bunch of hay for the goats and she jumped right in and made herself a little nest. Maybe her maternal instincts coming up? We can hope.
Finally, I wanted to post one more youtube link. Just one this time. A song I found through Lost. Blind Boys Of Alabama – ‘I Shall Not Walk Alone. Amazingly beautiful. Apparently it’s a christian gospel. I don’t know much about christianity, but I know what I like. And I love this. Here it is on Lost. It’s the same song so it only counts as one link. I swear.
Catholic, not christian, apparently. I’m probably going to hell now.
Any day.

Ignore all those comments on YouTube about Catholics vs. Christians. You won’t be going to hell. Catholics are a type of Christians. The ‘other sort’ mainly being Protestants.
It is a beautiful song.

That’s hilarious and reminds me of my Canadian mate Courtney, who also didn’t realise Catholics and Protestants are both Christian religions! Much like the girls I shared acommodation with first year at Uni in England who didn’t know that dandilions turn from the yelo flower into the white puff. How can you not know that?
Don’t mean to make fun or owt.
Adam and I talk about this frequently – until quite recently in my personal evolution I kinda assumed everyone was on the same page as me so couldnøt understand certain opinions, because “how can ppl who know what I know think/believe X and Y?”
Not very well explained. The tune is wonderful.
