Baptized In Gasoline

(google cache)

I went to bed quite early yesterday. Because I could not stand being awake. My left eye got worse. And I did not know how to deal with it, other than go to bed.

Today I called the eye doctor and got an appointment for Thursday. I thought it was best. My dad talked to the acupuncturist and he said that it was normal to see a little dip in vision quality. It might even be a good sign. So I could wait. Wait for next week’s acupuncture. Maybe my sight will get better then. But as I understand it AMD can get worse very quickly. So what if I wait two weeks and the acupuncture doesn’t work and my left eye gets as bad as the right? It’s bad enough already. Getting hard to use the computer.

I am just sick and tired of everything. This was supposed to be my week off. Now it’s just more stressing and more doctors and examinations and uncertainty. And the universe will not rest before I am completely blind, I am sure of it. I just want to go to bed and not come out again.

Tomorrow I will try to go see the goats. We’ll see how much I can see of them.

One thing about the goats is you can see them, you can feel them, and you can smell them (if its a buck)! Otherwise our boys don’t smell that I’ve ever noticed.

It’s probably a good idea that you did schedule an appointment. To find out if the doctor knows what’s going on with the increased vision loss.

I had to keep chasing our boys out of the iris patch last night. I don’t think iris leaves are all that good for them, but Frankie especially seems to delight in eating them. Tulip leaves meet the same end.

They just don’t seem to understand that the whole yard isn’t theirs for the eating! Silly goats.

Snickers has been very good lately. We are holding our breath over that. Waiting for her to erupt like a volcano or the calm before the storm!

Debster – Vanilje’s boys have started smelling a bit. I like it, as long as it’s not in full power buck mode. It’s still very pleasant to me. Hope the other bus passengers don’t mind that I smell like goat though!
I think goats think the whole world is theirs for the eating. And rihgtly so.
