Pretty White Ships
(google cache)
Can you guess how hard it is to cut your fingernails when you can’t see them?
I’ll give you a hint: it’s pretty hard.
But I think I still have all 10 fingers. So I can’t complain.
tomorrow it’s time for the hospital visit, finally. So I can have my eyes examined. Again. It shouldn’t be too bad, I am used to it by now. People poking and prodding my eyes. Seems that’s all I’ve been doing this year. That and having needles inserted in me. I know how to party.
Fingers crossed for results.

Sorry for the silence, but it is nearly thesis submission time, so ideally I should have a complete thesis to submit …
*HUGS* Best wishes for tomorrow — you’re doing all you can, and that’s what’s important.

I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to have 11 fingers! Aren’t you? hee, hee
Good luck tomorrow at the hospital. We’ll be thinking about you and sending you good wishes.
I was going to send you a picture link of a ruby-throated hummingbird, but I aren’t smart enough to do so! Just Google: Ruby-throated hummingbird pictures. Hopefully you get one to see. The males have a ruby red throat, but the females is just white. They both have iridescent green/blue backs.
The National Geographic website had pictures, a video, and sounds the hummers make.
We now have 2 more animals to add to our zoo. They are Domino and Checkers – two female black and white long-haired kitty kats. We have mice everywhere since we didn’t have any barn kats.
The worst is the mice in the car. We use the trucks for work (and we’re always working) so we don’t use the car much. So that’s where the mice have set up shop.
We’ve set regular traps with peanut butter, sticky traps, and the metal crawl-in-but-don’t-crawl-out traps, but no mice. So now we’ve brought in the secret weapon – CATS!
Will keep you updated on the new “mouse trappers”.

Valja – Thank you kindly. And good luck with your thesis! I hope it’ll go smashing.
Debster – No no, that’s my nose you’re counting!
I’ll try to check out some hummingbirds when my eyesight returns to (fairly) normal.
Congrats on the kitties! Mice beware. You’ll have to show me some pictures of them somtime. The cats, I mean, not the mice.
