Recreating The Professor
It’s funny, when I was younger I’d wait and wait for the snow to come. And it never seemed to last long enough. Now I can’t wait for it to disappear so I can move around unhindered and not freeze to death.
Although, it is still very pretty outside. I feel like taking a walk. Like bambi on ice.
It’s a jolly old season, though. Thank you very much to DesirĂ©e who sent me a couple of presents for christmas. A pair of boxers and a home-made calendar with pictures of her lovely family. She sent me a similar one last year, and it is just so sweet and lovely. I appreciate it very much.
Other than that I am looking forward to Friday. For the very important hospital appointment. The secondary cataract treatment and probably the last little chance of improving my eyesight. Even just a little. So that is weighing heavily on my mind. Even though I’m not allowed to hope for it to have any effect, I can’t quite help it. It is all I want for christmas. Well, apart from all the really expensive stuff. Naturally.
I am saving up for bionic eyes.
